Thriving with Metastatic Breast Cancer 
It's a beautiful day to help save lives! 
"Be brave" and "You got this" is what I keep repeating to myself every time the scanxiety starts to creep in. What a thief. Stealing my inner peace that I worked so hard for and consuming my every thought with "what ifs." I'm scared. It's not something I like to admit to myself, but oh God I'm terrified. So, here I am sitting in the waiting room fighting back tears and taking deep breaths trying my hardest to stay positive about my brain MRI today and my PET next week. I break too and that's okay. Something I learned along the way is you don't need to be strong all the time. You are human and we were made to feel Every.Single.Emotion that comes up. So FEEL and then let it go.
