Shoreditch📍Another brand new trader from brand new vegan weekend market @houseofveganldn on Brick Lane 🏠 🍽️ @omkara_ldn do fully vegan Indian dishes - and incredible ones at that! They've got some of the lesser known classics like Pav Bhaji, but also some of the usual suspects like Chik'n masala 😍 🍛I tried their Keema Matar - a dish traditionally made of minced lamb (swapped for soy mince) with mushrooms and peas in a delicious earthy, tangy tomato sauce! Served with a refreshing raita, sour and tangy pickle, crunchy salad and spicy chillis on a bed of rice👌🏼 This was so moorish, rich and full of flavour! Check out and support this up and coming stall 😊 Thanks for a fab meal guys❤️

🍗 Vegan wings 〰️ the consistency of the seitan they've used (which is in the burger patty too) is just amazing

Shoreditch📍Not one, but TWO newbies to announce here!
☝🏼 There's a new vegan market in town! 🏠 Brick Lane food hall has reopened as @houseofveganldn - a weekly weekend vegan food hall! Great mix of different types of cuisines, sweet food, savoury food and drinks too. Get on over there and chow down on some delicious nosh all while treating your eardrums to top tunes by London's vegan DJ extraordinaire @jeyflash
✌🏼I checked out @clubcultured, the new brainchild of my pals Harry and Dobson - they specialise in tempeh, kimchi and kombucha. This is your place to go to for fermented fun! I feasted on:
🍔 Club rib: 2 day marinated tempeh BBQ ribs, root veg remoulade, macerated tomatoes, homemade chipotle mayo, baby gem lettuce and cheese on a sourdough roll 〰️ just look at this mother load of a sandwich! It's filling, full of flavour and messy AF 👌🏼
🌶️ Kimchini balls: kimchi risotto with nori and a sesame and a cube of meltwd mozzarella cheese in the middle, crumbed and fried and topped with yuzu mayo and sesame seeds 〰️ great mix of spice and creaminess in these moreish, gooey balls of happiness

Fab market, fab food, fab vibes - thanks boys ❤️

Fulham📍May have found the cutest restaurant in London 😍 🏠 It was a cold and rainy evening when I went to @megansrestaurants, and the awful weather made it feel like even more of a cosy sanctuary from the outside world ☔ It's got a rustic feel with flowers, plants, exposed brick and wooden furniture, and the best part: it's decked out in fairy lights giving the whole place a warm fuzzy glow🌼✨ This is the kind of place that's perfect for date night with your best pal or your partner - it's so cosy my friend and I stayed for ages chatting and catching up! 🙋🏼‍♀️The staff were lovely and really helpful too
In between chin wags, we feasted on some seriously good vegan options:
🍅 Deconstructed kebab: quinoa falafel and cauliflower with pistachio and coconut yoghurt in a spicy tomato shakshouka with flatbread 〰️ really liked the shakshouka style, the creamy yoghurt went so well with the tangy lightly spiced tomato sauce
🌯 Open kebab with vegan chorizo, pine nuts, roquito peppers, hummus, pickles, imam bayildi and red cabbage on flatbread 〰️ this was my fave, it was choc full of flavour! Loved the crumbley chorizo
Fab evening ❤️

Clapham📍New all-veegz restaurant alert!! @themeet have recently taken over the kitchen at @fumanchu, a cool space under the railway arches a hot second from Brixton. They invited me to check out their menu, so really, what better way to spend a Sunday?

We had:
🌱 The Forager Sunday Roast: chestnut and root veg stuffed mushroom with sage crust, served with thyme and garlic roasties, maple glazed parsnip and carrot, Yorkshire puds, shallot purée, sweetheart cabbage, cauliflower cheese and red wine gravy 〰️ this was seriously banging - loved all of the varied elements that brought the dish together from the earthy stuffed shroom to the creamy cauliflower cheese and shallot purée to the crunchy cabbage. Also the Yorkshires were top notch - very rare to get these with a vegan roast! 🌱 That's Sir Fry Up To You: bacun and sausages, scrambled tofu, baked beans, balsamic roasted tomato onions and mushrooms, sourdough toast 〰️ really enjoyed this too. The scrambled tofu stood out for me as it was such a great creamy consistency, and the balsamic veg had so much flavour and weren't overcooked or mushy. The mock meats were great too, I just wish the sourdough was browned so that the butter could melt into it!
🧀 Chorizo mac n cheese 〰️ unfortunately this wasn't for me as it had a really artificial/chemical-y aftertaste. It's a shame as the texture was bang on and I loved that it came with some parmesan crumble, chilli's and guac on top!
🥤Sunshine in a glass juice: carrot apple lemon ginger and mint 〰️ this was fab and refreshing
🥤Power me up: beetroot lime celery and watermelon: unfortunately I really didn't enjoy this - I think the watermelon isn't sweet or flavourful enough to balance out the strong earthiness of the beetroot and bitter saltiness of the celery. I suggested they try apple juice instead

All in all I loved this meal - it's a cool space🏠 and great spot to have Sunday brunch or roast, plus the staff were really friendly 🙋🏼‍♀️ Thank you guys for the fab meal ❤️

Homemade sweetcorn fritters topped with @rubiesintherubble banana ketchup (made from surplus bananas that would've otherwise gone to waste!) with roasted veg and salad - simple, quick, vegan AF and DELICIOUS 👌🏼🌱

Battersea📍#throwbackthursday to pizza at @pipizzauk - an absolute dream not to mention the size of THE EARTH 🍕🌏 👀
Plus you can get a 24 inch pizza and divide it into thirds for your toppings, meaning I didn't have to choose between the 3 vegan options! 😍
At the time, these were the three vegan options which we had: 🍕Spiced carrot cream, courgette, sliced potatoes with garlic capers and olive crumb
🍕Mushroom truffle medley, porcini cream, brown cap mushrooms, garlic and thyme
🍕Garlic, chilli balsamic roasted aubergine, tomoatoes, courgette, homemade vegan pesto, pine nuts and fresh basil

The food was fantastic 👅, the restaurant is beautiful and totally Insta-worthy📸, and the staff are a dream🤗

Dalston📍Fabulous all-vegan Palestinian feast from @whatthefattoush, who are launching their new Xmas menu at @drinksatpamela TOMORROW! 🎄🍽️ They invited me down for a sneak peek & you guys are in for a treat! Check it out:
🎃 Pumpkin, crispy sage and giant couscous soup served with labneh and warm Arabic bread 〰️ one of my faves! Loved the crispy sage, creamy labneh and the sweet richness of the pumpkin together, and the couscous gave some extra texture
🍱 Beer battered okra with date and tamarind sauce, falafel with pickles and hummus, pally puffs (chickpea balls) 〰️ loved all of these classics! That date and tamarind chutney tho 😍
🍕 Mushroom and leek Sfiha (Arabic pizza) topped with melted cheese 〰️ such a cool alternative to the kind of pizza I'm used to eating and absolutely banging! Beaut earthy flavour and perfect doughy texture! I recommended dipping sauce for the bread and they mentioned they're introducing it so stay tuned for that 👀 🍄 Polenta with za'atar spices field mushrooms and crispy thyme 〰️ great little dish, the polenta could just do with a bit more flavour and a creamier texture
🍟🥗 All mains come with batata harra (spiced potatoes), chopped salad and cauliflower with tahini 〰️ this was a great balance of both fresh and tangy flavours and deeper nutty/spiced flavours to compliment the mains 🥥 Al Quuds mess: crispy vermicelli, thick orange blossom infused cream, pistachios, fresh fruit and pomegranate molasses 〰️ lovely and fresh, I liked the crunchy vermicelli and nuts paired with the cream and the tangy fruit

What the Fattoush are not only all vegan, but 10% of their profits go to award winning non-profit org @skate_pal who work to empower Palestinian youth through skateboarding. Palestinians are experiencing a humanitarian crisis, and with over half of those in the occupied territories under 21, initiatives like these help give them back a sense of wellbeing, empowerment and community 🇵🇸

This week I was honoured to attend @greedykhao's very first supper club 🐮 These guys do some of the best food in London, and the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand 🇹🇭 They are also fabulous, hard working and kind humans and it's been amazing to follow their journey 💚 🏠 The supper club was held in super cosy all-vegan venue @tencablestreet, hosted by the wonderful @mokosellars
We had a 4-course feast of Thai palace food - and boy did I feel like a queen! 👑 This truly was an experience and not just a meal:
🌱 Taro (a purple, potato like veg) parcels and 'pork' toast served with sweet and sour ajaad relish 〰️ these were incredible and really flavourful - the taro has a mellow, almost corn-like flavour while the pork toasts were crispy and sweet which work fab with the tangy dipping sauce
🍜 Coloured rice vermicelli served with vegan chikn in a coconut broth with chilli, ginger, garlic, toasted coconut flakes, vegan fish sauce, fresh lime and fresh pineapple 〰️ this was so beautifully presented yet simple and refreshing, and a great palate cleanser dish between the appetiser and the main course. All the ingredients were fresh and I loved the fact that the coconut milk came in a elephant shaped jug (pictured) so you poured it yourself!
🍛 [Main meal, pictured]: butterfly pea rice in coconut cream, spicy papaya salad, red curry with chikn and Thai pea aubergine, shredded candied mushroom 〰️ so many different colours, textures and flavours here! Loved the candied mushroom which was sweet and crispy, it went so well with the smooth sweet rice and the kick of the curry
🥥 Sweet pandan jelly with tapioca and water chestnut, served with a lightly salted coconut cream 〰️ So. Delicious. the water chestnut added a great crunch to the smooth pudding, and the sweetness of the jelly paired well with the slightly salty coconut cream

Everything was beautifully and thoughtfully put together, packed with flavour and super fresh! Just a simply incredible meal. THANK YOU guys for a fabulous evening ❤️ They don't have a permanent space yet but check out their page for market days and future supper clubs! 👀

Peckham📍On our food adventure day in Peckham earlier this month (yes it's a thing), @thelittlelondonvegan and I stopped by super cute local cafe @2girls_cafe
2 Girls are a vegetarian cafe and have a small zero waste shop in the cafe too! So you can eat and stock up on pulses, grains and even selected veg at the same time as stuffing your face ♻️🍽️ Check out our fab brekkie:
🥐 Charcoal croissant 〰️ I find it hard to get good vegan croissants but this one was banging! Flakey, rich and sweet
🥪 Wonder woman sandwich: avocado, tomato, salad, courgette hummus and coconut bacon on sourdough bread 〰️ this tasted fab, there was almost a blue cheese like tanginess about it which worked well with the creamy avo 🥣 Coconut bowl: soy yoghurt, banana, blueberries, raspberry, organic muesli and coconut flakes 〰️ can't go wrong here, this was lovely!
🥤 Mango smoothie 👌🏼
☕ Charcoal latte 👌🏼
☕ Lavender latte 〰️ the owner makes the lavender infusion herself which is impressive! It was just lacking a bit of sweetness for me

All in all a really lovely little cafe and great local initiative to support! ❤️

Bethnal green📍 A fully vegan Italian restaurant. I repeat, A FULLY VEGAN ITALIAN RESTAURANT 🍝🍝🍝 It's incredible that you can find fully vegan versions of even some of the most meat and dairy heavy cuisines now! I love me some creamy, carby, pasta comfort especially in this cold weather 😨 And it's amazing to be able to pop into @antoniosvegankitchen and have a plethora of delicious options to choose from - and boy was it hard to choose!
We ended up going for the classics:
🍝 Spaghetti bolognese 〰️ like a hug from within. The pasta had the perfect texture and the sauce was meaty, tomatoey and herby. The vegan cheese on top added just the right amount of tanginess. I only felt the portion size was a little small for a main (ya gyals got a big appetite)
🍝 Spaghetti carbonara 〰️ this was mega creamy, and definitely had potential to resemble carbonara - the bacon bits were smokey and delicious. Unfortunately there was too much pepper in the sauce for my taste - it was a bit over powering, and the pasta was undercooked and so a bit chewy. Again, felt the portion size was a bit small for me. A great dish, just a few suggested tweaks that may be down to human error
🍝 Spinach and ricotta ravioli 〰️ incredible - I couldn't believe how exactly it replicated that spinach and ricotta flavour, which is one of my all time favourite pasta dishes! Again, pasta was slightly undercooked and chewy
All in all this place is fab - fantastic flavours and fresh, home cooked food. Amazing to find vegan alternatives for these Italian classics 🙋 Staff are super friendly and welcoming too! Thank you guys 💚
