Everyone loves to watch some sport, but who'd love to shoot a big match infront of a crowd of thousands of screaming fans? With Origin on tonight here are a few tips from our resident pro-sports shooter @colbaker"Keep your shutter speeds high and apeture low for all your standard icon shots to draw the viewers atention right to the point of impact. But remember sport is not just about whats happening infront of you, turn around, observe the crowd, wait for a try, capture the celebration with a long depth of field and fast shutter then you can observe the human element in an image that can hold your viewer for minutes in these days of fleeting attention" @colbaker#canoncollective
Want to have a go at shooting the moon? Take these easy steps outlined by Queensland Ambassador @colbaker * Pick a night where the moon is clearly visible and at least half full
* Grab a long lens, 400mm plus would be ideal
* Set your camera to manual
* Shutter speed 1/1000th sec
* Apeture f5.6
* ISO 100
* If too dark, lower the shutter speed to 1/500th
* If too bright, increase shutter to 1/4000th
* Crop the final result in post production to really draw your viewers attention
The more full the moon is, the brighter it will be so let the shutter speed stop down the light or increase the exposure for you. Keep you ISO very low and aperure around f5.6 to allow clarity at that distance. This shot used a 7dmkii with a Canon 100-400 and 2x extender shot at 1/2000th f5.6 ISO100 hand held in manual focus.

@shanewalkerphotography, at Lake Rowallan -Tasmania. Lake Rowallan offers excellent bush-based trout fishing, with a stocked population of rainbow and brown trout as well as some native species. You can launch your boat at the northern end of the Lake or follow the four wheel drive vehicle tracks to sheltered camping areas where small boats can be launched from the shore. Lake Rowallan is also the starting point for walks into nearby highland areas including the Walls of Jerusalem national park.
@photosbyfarr with this awesome shot from Snapper Rocks. Epic shot!
