Sometimes, you've just got to let go of those fears, and GO FOR IT!!!!! I've NEVER looked back and regretted any decisions made while still having doubts about the path that they would lead me on (i.e. the Coaching opportunity that came at the PERFECT time in my life). It's MUCH BETTER to say, "Yes!", and fail opposed to saying, "Hell NO!", and asking yourself, "What if....?????!!". It's % okay to fail you guys, cause it means that you're moving forward! It's your choice... stay stuck, or get out there and live life to it's fullest! I choose the latter.
It's SO hard to be patient sometimes, isn't it?! Scenario.... You've been working your ass off in your workouts and eating SUPER clean, but there's just no real physical change happening, which is frustrating as HELL!!!!! If things don't start moving along at a faster pace, you're gonna throw in the towel on this damn thang, and either move onto something else or quit trying altogether! HOLD UP! Time to check yoself! How long have you been working on this new lifestyle? A week or two? It's gonna take A LOT longer than that to reach your goals, so ya better keep going, girlfriend! You didn't become unhealthy and unfit overnight, so you're not going to magically be healthy and fit at the snap of your fingers!
Patience is the KEY to success in anything that you do, and I know this firsthand... I wasn't seeing huge results the first 3 weeks of 80-day Obsession, and it was a little bit frustrating. All I could do was continue to remind myself of all the SMALL changes that were occurring, and there were A LOT! I stayed off the scale, and celebrated those teeny tiny victories KNOWING that the bigger results were just around the corner. And well.... Good thing I was patient and kept going cause have ya seen my PHASE ONE progress pics (if not, go back a few posts )????!!!! There's still a lot of work to do, and I'm TOTALLY up for it cause good things also don't come easy.

Just thinking about how blessed I am to live such an AMAZING life. A few short years ago, it wasn't amazing at all, and I literally didn't have much life left in me. I was a slave to the booze with a no way out attitude. But... I then realized that there was TOTALLY a way out, I just had to CHOOSE the right path. So, I made that CHOICE, and here I am today- SOBER, HAPPY, GRATEFUL, HUMBLE! Someone who LIVES to help others succeed while working to better herself at the same time. A lifelong learner with HUGE goals! The CEO of an amazing health and fitness coaching biz. A Wife, Sister, Daughter, and Friend who is a contributing member of society. WOW! With the way I was going, I'd NEVER thought those words would be used to describe ME!!!! But they do because I CHOSE to CHANGE. It hasn't been an easy road, but every single second has been worth it, and I'm just SO FREAKING GRATEFUL for the relationship that I have with God, my sobriety, the wonderful people in my life, and this AMAZING little work from home gig that has provided me SO much freedom.
PHASE ONE PROGRESS CHECK-IN These pictures are NEVER easy to share, (especially as a Health and Fitness Coach) because I'm pretty much throwing myself under the bus, so to speak. The reality is that I'm human just like the rest of you, and slip-ups are bound to happen no matter what. With that being stated, these before pictures show me at a stage where I pretty much let my nightly sugar cravings take over. I was working out 5-6 days per week (AND playing soccer on top of it), and eating healthy a lot of the time, but then at night, those cravings would kick-in, and a pint of Halo top would end up in my hands. An uncontrollable addiction to sweets developed over a period of time, which brought on an unhealthy routine of overindulging at least five nights out of the week. I'm def ALLLL about treating myself here and there, but this was EXCESSIVE. It's a true fact that nutrition has to do with about 70-80% of being fit you guys, and these comparison pics are a prime example of just that! The time nutrition aspect of this program leaves little room for error, but don't let that scare you! I honestly got used to it after the third day, and it is actually the easiest eating plan I've ever been on, no joke! I have been tested mentally, physically, and emotionally, and wouldn't have it any other way. Not only am I SUPER proud of myself thus far, but I'm even more proud of my clients, and fellow coaches for their hard work, determination, and persistence. The community that we create while doing these programs is what it's all about, and I'd be lost without this AMAZING support system. The fact that we are only 1/3 of the way through is really freaking exciting because it means that there is SO much time left to CRUSH even more goals.

Posted this in my 80-day Obsession focus group tonight as phase 1 OFFICIALLY comes to a close. This is only the 1/3 mark, which means that I have SO much time to crush MANY more goals! I'll have my stats and pics ready to share with y'all tomorrow due to switching up rest days, but most of my fellow Coaches and clients have taken theirs already, and I'm FREAKING BLOWN AWAY you guys!!!! Everyone is KILLING IT, and I couldn't be more proud. Tricky part is sticking with it for the next 60(ish) days. We've all gone through mental and physical challenges, and there's only more to come. What's really cool about this whole thing though is that I have a bunch of AMAZING women behind me. We support, motivate, and encourage each other on the daily, and they would make it a whole hell of a lot harder to throw in the towel. These groups are the bread and butter of what I do as a Coach, and I'm grateful to be on this journey with so many awesome peeps. Quitting is just NEVER an option. It's def not too late to join us either, so get at me ASAP!
CARDIO CORE All about them abs today! Love the layout of this workout, and how each set gets the heart rate up with 1 min of cardio exercises, and then moves right onto an ab routine directly afterwards. This video only shows the end of the workout where all of the core moves are combined, but you can check out my IG stories to see the set sequences. This is the first time in a long while that I've felt somewhat comfortable posting a video of myself in a sports bra. I can def see progress in my midsection, and figured why not put it out here today. Even as a Coach, I'm not perfect, and there's still lots of work to do. I let my sweet tooth get the best of me a few too many nights, and it all went to the tummy and chin. I'm SUPER grateful for this program for so many reasons, and it's hard to believe that tomorrow will be my FINAL day in phase 1. I'm SUPER excited for phase 2, and the results that will come along with it!
Today, I am just flat out #thankful! Thankful for my health and sobriety. Thankful for my hubby, family, and AMAZING friends who have stuck by me through it all. Thankful for this little Coaching gig that forces me to step outta my comfort zone on the daily, brings awesome people like YOU into my life, AND gives me ALLLL the freedom to do things I'd never imagined possible. Life is REALLY freaking good, and I will CHOOSE to keep it that way. Practicing #gratitude is what it's all about my friends!
