The perfect cure to beat the February winter blues = Ramen So stoked to see that this place in St-Henri (which is part ice cream/part ramen shop) offers one of the most amazing vegan ramen we've ever had. When we were living in L.A we tried so many different ones, and these were even better - definitely a place to go try if you're craving a warm, comforting broth. The owner also said they are adding 3 new vegan ramen flavors next month so...stay tuned!
Sometimes the best things are the simplest ones. We discovered this place during a snowstorm and it just felt so comforting as soon as we stepped in. Then we tasted their food and we instantly knew we would have to become regulars! Their bagels (that comes with cashew cheese) and their granola bowls (cashew yogourt, fruits, granola and an amazing apple butter) are sooo delicious.
It's that kind of night where I'm craving a breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, cinnamon buns, or anything topped with maple syrup would do but then I came upon this photo and it just made me excited for more brunch this weekend!
I spy with my two little owl eyessome delicious donuts! If you're looking for some decadent vegan sweet treats, @troudebeigne in Little Italy is where it's at.They don't always have vegan options (I believe you have to place an order) but we called asking if they had any and they were kind enough to offer to make some for us! They were still a bit warm when we got there so it really doesn't get better than that! Pictured are the blueberry and maple glazed ones.
If you're looking for an amazing assortment of vegan banh mis' full of flavor, look no further. This place in the Mile End has won our hearts over time and time again, we go more often than we care to admit They offer three vegetarian options that can be made vegan by omitting the mayo. My recommendation? Get the tofu chermoula with extra avocado and the eggplantone.
This has been one of my favorite places in Montreal probably for the past ten years. When I lived in California, this was one of the places I constantly craved. For the food, but also the vibe of the place. Everything they make is so delicious - they don't have that many vegan options for brunch but I find their lattes, chia bowls and fruit salad SO good, I can't complain. Now, if they'd only start making their banana muffin vegan, we'd be in business
