Homemade New England style clam chowder with melted cheese garnish, in a not so homemade sourdough bread bowl. I used some of the meat from the inside of the bread as garnish to replace the crackers. Very tasty.

So I may not work in a gourmet kitchen anymore but I'm having too much fun cooking for these boys in lockup. Today was Popeyes style fried chicken, assorted dinner rolls and biscuits, mixed veggies with steamed broccoli and baked beans. Topped it off with ghetto style blue Hawaiian Punch. Yea baby Grandma Ruby's in the house. Chef Life!
KATZ DELICATESSEN! I can take this off my bucket list now. We didn't have time to stay and eat so I'll take a picture of the sandwich when I get back to Springfield. I truly believe in order to be a great Chef I need to visit these places. If you know what good food taste like it forces you to cook just as a good, or better. A Chefs Life is a way of life.
