I am so proud to be an Asian Pacific American studying law. I can not express how grateful I am for the opportunity I had to attend the 24th Annual National Asian Pacific American (APA) conference on law and public policy at Harvard Law School representing Suffolk Law APALSA. The theme was Asian America: Seen, Heard, Known. The speakers addressed multiple issues APA’s have overcome and currently face in the legal field. I met so many amazing influential men and women and learned so much about being an APA leader. This day long experience has greatly impacted my perspective on APA issues and what decisions I will make when pursuing my future legal career.
“The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?”
Grateful for the opportunity to volunteer for the 32nd Annual Harry H. Dow Memorial Legal Assistance Fund Dinner “Every successful individual knows that his or her achievement depends on a community of persons working together.”
“The only limit to your impact is your imagination and commitment.” Grateful for the opportunity to meet Mr. Frederick Dow and Dr. Stephen Legomsky at the Harry Dow Lecture Series on Immigration Law addressing DACA. Both carry out Mr. Harry Dow’s legacy of achieving social and economic justice in Asian American communities and in immigration law.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” So proud to be a member of APALSA at Suffolk Law volunteering for Rice Sticks and Tea which is a food pantry program serving over 120 pre-screened low-income Asian immigrant and refugee families each month.
“Distance means so little, when someone means so much” Even if it was only for a couple of days, I am grateful that we were able to spend time together. Thanks for making my first homecoming as an alumni so special
