Through the years that I've been in ministry, I'm so glad that God has guided me through some of the trials and challenges that are inevitable. One of the most nourishing and healing things we can do as women in ministry is to come alongside each other and encourage one another right where we're at!
That's why @PropelWomen will once again be hosting a day of ministry for Women in Ministry in March next year! It was one of our most impactful gatherings this year. The purpose of this day is nothing apart from full on ministry to women in ministry. This is where you come not to pour out, but to receive. I’ve invited a couple of my friends to help share the Word which will strengthen and encourage you. We will pray with and for you, and spend extensive time worshiping our King. Miracles can happen in the Presence of Jesus. I’m believing you’ll leave refreshed, recharged and ready for your next season. I would love if you could join us! Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers. —Psalm 1:1-3
Can you imagine what it would be like if everything you did prospered? Well, God wants to pour out this kind of blessing on your life. When we abide in, or keep close to His heart and His word, everything else we do flows out from the source of our relationship with God.
Imagine your life, as mentioned in the verse above, like a tree planted by the water (God, our source). The water gives life to your branches and leaves in every shifting season to sustain you through it all. Everything that flows in and around us bears the good, long-lasting and sustaining fruit. Your roots grow stronger and deeper each day.
Sounds amazing, right? We want to encourage you to stay connected to the Source. Allow Him to move and work in you and let everything He imparts into you flow out into every facet of your life.
I am passionate about raising up fervent and steadfast women to bring the Word of God and His Kingdom here on earth. I know that the pressures and expectations of ministry can be daunting, but God has called us to a higher authority that allows us to confidently walk in our calling.
I am so excited to bring to you the Women In Ministry Event! This only happens once a year, so we're so excited for you to have the chance to be a part of the workshop in 2019.
Our goal is to create an environment where you can be strengthened and encouraged to revive your passion for God's call on your life!
So, please join us for WOMEN IN MINISTRY — a day of impartation, worship, prayer, connection, and encouragement! Details here: [LINK IN PROFILE] . . . https://rcmco.co/2OQ2KNR
Unforgettable weekend @tfcpeople with our dear friends @shaunnepstad & @diannanepstad. Blown away by what God is doing in Antioch through this stunningly diverse church. This church is full of life, hope, healing and salvation. It was a privilege and joy to preach across five services. Y’all had me wanting to run laps with you. You were a preachers dream congregation. The girls in the third photo are Shaun & Dianna’s daughters and stellar women of God, full of wisdom, passion and grace. They took my breath away. All are involved serving the church, and as a mother of two teenage daughters, I watched, listened and learned so much from this family. I am a lover of the local church, and consider building Gods’ house, to be the greatest privilege of my life.
Fear is a liar and it will steal your joy and peace if you let it. God gave us three offensive weapons to lean into when we are fearful: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” —2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
The spirit of fear is no match for the Spirit of God who lives inside of us — and the power, love and sound mind He’s given to us. We can walk in peace in the midst of chaos because the God who is in us is greater than anything to come against us — even fear. #EmbraceTheUnexpected
Just as God gave you fingerprints, He has given you a life-print specifically designed for you and you alone. Don't compare your unique call of God with someone else’s. Rather, seek today to fulfill God’s life-print for your life! ...But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. —1 Corinthians 12:24-27 (NIV)
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace —1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)
I have countless memories of playing games with my kids in airplanes. We were often stuck in seats like this for over 12 hours because everywhere is far from Australia. We learned how to make it fun wherever we were. We learned how to be grateful in all situations. We learned that we didn’t need conditions to be perfect to create perfect conditions. We learned to be creative and innovative. We learned to look at the glass half full instead of half empty. Perspective is everything. What you look for, you will find. Choose to find the love, joy, peace, fun, and adventure in your family life. One smile from your kid, like Catherine’s in this photo can make a 14-hour journey across the planet, totally worth it! #FamilyFriday
