Landscape and nature
England - South African
If you have seen my stories today, you will know that it was a very early start for myself and @nickaseymour this morning. We met at this spot 2 years ago in June, and have made it a tradition every year since to shoot sunrise. I set up this composition and waited. The light burst through and lasted about 2 minutes and then was gone. It then reappeared a few minutes later with a beam of light, and then that was it. The flowers along the coast have been incredible this spring.
After a pretty lazy day yesterday of doing absolutely nothing and lounging around in front of the TV, I needed to get out! It was a stunning evening, so grabbed the camera and headed to a local forest. I've shot here a couple of times in the past, and in the summer this place turns into a tropical jungle with lush ferns, carpeted moss and, oh yes, let's not forget the mosquitoes!
