DCU Psychological Society presents a SafeTALK Workshop in association with the PSI Student Affairs Group this Tuesday November 20th at 3pm in C166.
SafeTALK is a training programme that prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to the first aid resources. These specific skills are called suicide alertness and are taught with the expectation that the person learning them will use them to help reduce suicide risk in their communities. Following a safeTALK workshop you will be more willing and able to perform an important helping role for persons with thoughts of suicide. **Places for this workshop are limited so please sign up in the following Google form if you wish to attend** https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScq0xVx7s-2E2y58b4njV1KiWPvC0FRnO4C89lGNBEiDosLAA/viewform?usp=sf_link
