Do you dream in colors or in black and white? I finished this painting just in time for #Halloween ! It’s called Bad Dreams and it was so exciting to adapt my style to this color scheme. By Madeline Bavli, 30” x 48” acrylic on canvas.
Cosmic Energy by Madeline Bavli. 36x36 acrylic on canvas. I’m posting this recently-made painting now in honor of the amazing scientific discovery we read about yesterday: the cataclysmic explosion and creation of a “ kilonova “ that sent gravitational waves rippling throughout the universe. So proud of @orifox and others for this groundbreaking discovery.
Just completed this painting. It's 3ft x 4 ft by Madeline Bavli and influenced by Jackson Pollock. Ever since I started posting on Instagram I began to paint very quickly. I used to take weeks, even months, to complete a painting but now I finish one in a few days. Painting fast allows me to keep posting regularly. The great thing is that painting faster dramatically improved my art! Do my fellow artists have similar experiences?
I got so much inspiration from the gorgeous scenery and art work in Laguna Beach CA over Labor Day Weekend. I especially loved the colors reflected on the mountains after the morning clouds and fog dissipated.
Memories: Manhattan Beach Footbridge over Sheepshead Bay. I loved Sheepshead Bay as a child. In this painting, I tried to convey the inky blue-green color of the water, the fish and boats everywhere you'd look and the fun that awaited me the other side of the bridge. Acrylic on canvas by Madeline Bavli.
