Adweek just published their annual top 10 picks for the year’s “most intriguing, inspiring and entertaining work.” The ads represent a wide variety of brands, subject matter, stylistic approaches and executions, but they all have one major thing in common:
The ads ranged from controversial to comedic, and hit many points in between. They leveraged a wide spectrum of emotional responses to get viewers to engage, react, and respond to the message. And while the budgets on all of the ads were clearly astronomical, the lessons learned in effective digital marketing can be applied no matter what how much you have to spend on promotions.
People act completely different on each social app. Understand why and how people use each platform, and make sure your marketing tone and tactics are appropriate.
