You know by now how much I love pumpkin...in almost everything! And for good reason! High in vitamin A, vitamin C and fiber to help reduce inflammation and promote healthy digestion, it's a versatile superfood that can be used so many different ways! TODDLER ON-THE-GO SNACKS
I was recently asked for some #toddlersnack ideas so I decided to make it the focus of this week’s #toddlertuesdaytip. Here are 5 tips to remember when preparing food for your #toddler:
1) Aim for high nutrient density. Small pieces of cucumber, peppers, melon, blueberries, and carrots are great finger foods for home or on the go.
2) Avoid β€œfiller foods” like puffs and goldfish. Toddlers have small tummies so we want to save that space for nutrient packed foods as much as possible.
3) Pack from all four food groups. Take veggies, fruits, cheese or yogurt, whole grain muffins, nuts, seeds, etc.
4) Use containers that will fit into their little hands or are hands free. I really love the small glass containers from @weangreen for car rides and stroller runs. And the amazing @snapandshoptray Is perfect for a Costco shop. I can fit awhile on-the-go lunch in there!
5) Be cautious about choking hazards. Cut grapes in half. Quarter baby carrots. Cut muffins and cheese up so your little one doesn’t put the whole thing in their mouth.

It's #toasttuesday! These beauties didn't last long as my helper was hovering dangerously close to the set eyeing the avocado rose. Anyone can relate with someone eagerly waiting to eat the set? πŸ˜„. .

Here are some facts you can really dive into:
🍞 leatherback sea turtles, the largest of all turtles, can dive up to 4 200 feet and stay down for more than 85 minutes in search of jellyfish.
