The super cub airplane is one of the best ways to get around in Alaska's vast wild landscape. It is only a two seater airplane but can land in places most other airplanes cannot. I've been fortunate to spend hundreds of hours in the air with some of Alaska's best Bush pilots who have become great friends. I use the super cub to get into remote areas, scout out locations and do aerial still photography. One just has to become used to shooting around the wing struts. #FlorianSchulzVisuals#FlorianSchulzPhotography#AerialPhotography#Alaska#BushFlying#SuperCub
Filming bears with my brother Salomon in Alaska. It has been great to spend so much time in the field together! We were out for two months that year in multiple locations along the Alaska Peninsula. What an incredible place! This is from a few years back when I got into the moving pictures. I love it both - stills and film and they are equally powerful. But filmmaking - especially wildlife demands so much gear and is so much more complicated, permits alone .... :) #reddigitalcinema#wildlifefilmmaker#alaska#florianschulzphotography#florianschulz#brothers@florianschulzvisuals
Shooting the large caribou migration in Alaskas Arctic. We turn day and night around because of the golden light during midnight hours. Enormous groups of caribou came together in the coastal plain of the Arctic Refuge.
On the nose of the JetRanger is the #Cineflex Ultra. Inside the gimbal the 8K RED Helium camera with the Fuji 42x lens. I love to have the option of really tight zooms while still being able to pull all the way back and shoot a wide angle scene if necessary. #florianschulzphotography#reddigitalcinema#wildlifefilm@florianschulzvisuals
