Throwback to my first powerlifting meet! This experience was one of the most amazing moments and I am so happy that I made the decision to go out of my comfort zone and compete against powerful athletes. I am so proud of my fellow competitors and myself for putting in hours of training and dedication into this sport. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s growth and hard work put into display and I only hope to gain more strength and more friends at the next meet!

Happy Friday, everyone! I was hesitant to post this because I never felt confident enough to put up pictures of my physique. But you know what? I’ve worked damn hard to get to where I am today. I love to lift heavy because there is this feeling of empowerment that as a woman I can lift as much as or even heavier than some men. I love to lift heavy because it is both a mental and physical challenge and it’s so damn satisfying when I hit a new personal record. I love to lift heavy because I believe that strength is beautiful.
Throwback to my deadlifts last Friday since I didn’t train today 🤭! 290 lbs for dubs felt so easy peasy! Thanks to my forever hype woman @paulenewidit for all the encouragement!
Damn. Yesterday’s bench session got me feelin some typa way! I was supposed to hit 5 sets of singles of 150 lbs, but that kicked my ass. So I dropped down to 145 lbs. I was able to hit two slow singles, but I think my body was telling me that I needed more energy and rest and I failed my last two sets. Yesterday’s training didn’t go as well as I hoped, but that just means that there’s room for me to grow and get stronger! I am so happy that my hype women @paulenewidit and @tolyt1 were there to make my training session better!
Woooo Happy Monday, y’all! Today’s squat session felt amazing! 3 weeks out and I’m feeling hella pumped! Here are my 3x2 230 lbs squats weighing in at 112 lbs body weight this morning.
