Day 1️⃣0️⃣ of the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge is #handstand and split. I started my practice today with core work with socks and blocks, then a 45 minute very sweaty vinyasa flow so as usual when I’m recording for this challenge I’m pretty beat 😄 I also find pressing up like this so hard, even though it was the first way I ever learned how to press to handstand 😊 .

Day 8️⃣ of the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge is #handstand and #scandasana 🌸 I went over to @jennyclise_ to see what she was doing today and I got inspired and also chose to work from #handstandsplit to scandasana 🌸 I had to do it twice because my split handstand never tends to be even, but I managed to straighten it a bit the second time 😄 Have an amazing Friday everyone! ❤️ .

Day 8️⃣ of the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge is #handstand and #toetaps I think that a year ago I didn’t even know what toetaps were but when I integrated it into my practice it really helped me with working towards for example #handstandpress Toetaps is compression work (as opposite to tension work) which is something you need to figure out and work with in a lot of the more advanced asanas.

It’s Day 7️⃣ if the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge and I’m actually trying this transition for the very first time. I have mentioned before that #ekapadabakasana or #oneleggedcrowpose was for a long time my nemesis pose. I just couldn’t do it. But I didn’t give up and now I can do it but I had for some reason never tried this transition from #headstand 😊 I can confirm that it was really hard, and I had just done the ashtanga primary series and my arms were like jelly from all that jumping back and through. But I’m happy I made it! .

Day 6️⃣ of the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge and today I decided to work on lowering from handstand to #epk2 And I feel that I’m
Improving, as Max said it’s just the final little bit left where I bounce down 😄It became a wobbly #sideplank afterwards, I guess I spent my energy on that transition. And do notice there is a little something for #toetaptuesday as well! Take care ❤️

Time to catch up again 😳 5️⃣of the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge I actually did #handstand to #pigeon the other day but it was before i saw what any of the hosts did and i didn’t understand that it was supposed to be FLYING pigeon 😆 And today I did a backbend practice with one of my favorites @yogawithbriohny on @alo.moves and my hips were not very warmed up but that pigeon took a little flight anyway 😊

Checking in a bit late for Day 3️⃣ of the #beyondflexibilityandfloat Yesterday I went to a backbend workshop at @hotyogamalmo and it was actually really great to practice in a heated room. The flexible feeling was still there today when I decided to do another backbend flow, this time with @meghancurrieyoga I mean, who ever gets fed up with backbends 😄

I’m a bit late on starting the #beyondflexibilityandfloat challenge but here’s my Day 1️⃣ which is float to handstand and forward. I don’t know exactly what that means but here I float forward to handstand and land in #crowpose #bakasana That transition gets better and better actually 😄 And then I continued to flow a bit, I do love these types of challenges where I get to be creative and work with my flow ❤️ Check in with the amazing hosts! .

Just my usual heart opening yoga wheel practice. I just love using the yoga wheel like this, if you have one you should try it. It’s a bit scaryat first (at least I think so 😆) but once you get the hang of bringing your chest really far through your shoulders and at the same time finding the balance with your butt and leg, it’s an amazing feeling ❤️ Wearing @runandrelax ✨

It’s #toetaptuesday and I did a little #toetap to #pikepress practice. I almost lost it though, due to some indecisiveness whether to go down to tittibasana or just go back to a toetap. So I ended up in a tuck just to save it all 😆
