My friend wrote a book called To Shake the Sleeping Self and it is officially out today. His name is @jedidiahjenkins and he is one of the greatest humans that I have ever met.
He rode his bike from the Oregon coast to the tip of Patagonia and this is the tale of that journey. 1 1/2 years on the road swimming in his thoughts of love and life and everything else that goes along with being on this planet. Jed, so proud of you my friend.
Words can’t express how proud I am of these two ladies. This morning they were featured on @thetodayshow for their life changing work with @kindcampaign. This is just ahead of them starting their 14th nation wide tour that takes them into classrooms across the country to tackle bullying within school hallways. You ladies have changed the lives of so many. You really have. I have sat through numerous assembly’s and have read letters from teachers, principals, parents and students expressing their love and gratitude for what you wonderful woman have brought into their lives. If you have a child that is being bullied or is the bully or you just don’t know please look up Kind Campaign and submit your child’s school to have an assembly set up free of charge. It really works. Check out their segment on The Today Show in my bio and let me know what you think. If you don’t have a child but know someone who does please let them know about this incredible organization. It’s all free of charge. No hidden agenda here. Just trying to make this world a little bit kinder. 🖤
“I feel like I am in a dream Dolores. Can you wake me up from this dream”? Feeling blessed and humbled to finally be able to mention this little secret of mine. Thank you Jonah and Lisa and all of the people over at @westworldhbo for allowing me to come play in your park. See you all very soon.
Come cook with us inside of the actual RV on the Sony lot! Again, Bryan is a terrible cook (as am I) but it will be a very good time. I promise. There will be surprise guests and lots of food. All proceeds go to amazing causes. Come on people! Come hang and support some incredible organizations.🖤⚗️🥐🔥🍳
I am so damn proud to announce that a film I shot last year will be making its world premier at the Toronto International Film Festival aka TIFF. American Woman was directed by the incredible Jake Scott and written by the fearless and tragic writer (Out of the Furnace) Brad Ingelsby. This film takes you on a journey that follows a complicated woman dealing with the disappearance of her young daughter and coming to terms with the possibility of never seeing her again. It’s about family, love and loss and it’s absolutely beautiful. Sienna Miller brings such a heartbreaking and honest performance to this character and to watch it play out in person was an absolute gift. Independent film making is where my heart is. Just raw and honest story telling. Thank you Jake for taking me on this ride with you! You absolutely crushed it. Thank you Brad for this story! I will read every single damn thing that you write. Thank you TIFF for this honor. I love you and all of Canada. See you soon! #TIFF
Hey all of you beautiful people. So wanted to let you know that there is still time to come cook with @bryancranston And I in the RV! You can enter to win at Omaze.com/breakingbad and you will be supporting two incredible causes with every single entry. Kind Campaign and NCEMC! Bryan is a terrible cook but at least you get to hang out with him and see how he smells. He actually always smells really good. I am constantly shocked by that. Good luck!
Happy birthday to one of the strongest ladies I know! My beautiful sister @rachelle_evans. I’m lucky to have you as a sibling and your kids are even luckier to have you as a mother. Love you lots! And yes, that is me raising my hand. I was really chunky back then.
Hey all of you amazing people! Come celebrate Breaking Bad’s 10 year reunion with us and cook inside the RV that made it all happen. All proceeds go to @kindcampaign and the National center for missing and exploited children. Click the link in my bio or go to omaze.com/breakingbad to enter. #BreakingBad
Jesse looks up, eyes blazing. He fixes Jere with a challenging glare.
Maybe she’s right. Maybe I shoulda put it in the paper. Maybe I shoulda done something different... The thing is... if you just do stuff and nothing happens -- what’s it all mean? What’s the point? (a bitter realization) Oh, right, this whole thing is about “self-acceptance." JERE:
Kicking the hell out of yourself isn’t going to give meaning to anything.
So I gotta stop “judging” and “accept”? JERE:
That’s a start.
JESSE: (fury building) No matter what I do, hooray for me, I’m a great guy! It’s alllll goooood. No matter how many dogs I kill, I “do an inventory” and “accept." You back your truck over your own kid and you, like, “accept”?! What a load of crap!
Jesse, I can see you’re in pain, but -- (The professional empathy gets under Jesse’s skin.) JESSE:
You know what? Why I’m here in the first place? To sell you meth. All of you, you’re nothing to me but customers! (to Jere) I made you my bitch. You okay with that? You “accept”? Jere is truly pissed now. Maybe that’s all Jesse wanted from him in the first place. JERE:
Jesse looks around the room, searching for someone to challenge him. But there’s nothing but hostile silence.
