I hope that, above anything else, you can see Christ shining through me 🌼

“... The great thing to remember is that, though our feelings come and go, His love for us does not. It is not wearied by our sin, or our indifference; and, therefore, it is quite relentless in its determination that we shall be cured of those sins, at whatever cost to us, at whatever cost to Him.” - C.S. Lewis • Mere Christianity

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.' Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” Luke‬ ‭15:4-7‬ ✨

“I had this picture in my head
Of where I ought to be and when
But it’s just like the good advice that John gave when he said,
“Life it happens while we’re busy making plans”” 🌸

“Let’s run a little bit faster
Hair blowin’ in the wind
There’s freedom here all around us
We just gotta breathe it in” 🌻

For the last 21 years, you have been be my side and have never once left it. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown to appreciate having a mother that I can tell anything to. Someone who is there for me no matter what I’m going through in life. Even when there have been times that I’ve had to tell you things I was afraid to, you have responded with the grace, mercy, and love of Christ, who continually shines through you in all areas of your life. I hope and pray that one day I can be as brilliant an example of a Christ-focused woman and leader that you are. I cannot express how much I love and appreciate you.
Happy birthday, momma 💜

I got the chance to mess around on my guitar in between classes on Thursday, so decided to record part of this song and I’m super happy with it. I am so thankful for the Prince of Heaven that I have in my life that gives me confidence to share His word and the ability to praise Him through music 💜

And You lead me somewhere I don’t wanna go
Even in my death I’ll follow You

Hey Annemarie, remember that time that you and I were just floating heads in Spofford Lake? Yeah, that was a good time 💕

**excuse the breathing, I’m still getting over bronchitis** So I don’t usually put videos of me singing or playing guitar out there because I’m extremely self conscious about it, but I’ve been thinking a lot about this song and about what this whole season means. It’s not just a time to listen to Christmas songs and decorate around the house, but a time to look at what God has done for us in sending His only Son to Earth to die for us and bring us back to Him, because we have failed miserably. The last three lines in this song are, “My sins would drive the nails in You; That rugged cross was my cross, too; Still every breath you drew was hallelujah.” I am imperfect, as are we all, but God gave up everything so that we could become white as snow and so that every breath we breath would be “hallelujah” to the King. I’m trying my hardest to live my life for Christ because He lived and sacrificed His life for me. Remember what Christmas is all about 🎄

Isaiah 7:14, "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.” 🎄❄️ It’s finally the most wonderful time of the year ✨
