HE's Nuggets #148: A Dynamic and warm Ecosystem brings out the best in you

Yes, one like the Enterprise Development Center of Pan Atlantic University makes work so much fun. It's rigourous, intellectually demanding, exciting and dynamic, no two days are the same. From reunions with alumni, (Deputy Director Nneka Okearu welcoming Alumni,) to meetings with Global CEOs like Reeta Roy of MasterCard Foundation, meeting others passionate about developing agriculture (Deji Balogun of Afex Commodities), to facilitating a class that has The General Manager of Inspiration FM Uyo Samuel Akpan and other enigmatic entrepreneurs . If this is work, then I want more of it!!!!!

HE's Nuggets #147: Celebrate amazing women... We are extraordinary geniuses
#LBSWomeninleadership was a very refreshing, reassuring and rewarding programme. Days well spent with enigmatic women going places.
I celebrate all my coursemates.... Three days seemed like 4years together with bold and courageous women consciously seeking to do more.
So glad to be part of the privileged women in this cohort. God bless you all as we stand together to impact our world!!!!! You are such positive influence. Who says women don't help each other? Believe each other... We do and it's time to change the negative narrative about women staying together!!!!! We rock WILMay 2018 cohort. #LBSWomeninleadership.

HE's Nuggets#146: Learn from giants and geniuses

Too many people stay insular once they think they have arrived. Then they stop growing and start dying....they become local champions. Not an advisable way to grow.
Go out, learn from giants like Mrs Ibukun Awosika and other amazing geniuses like Mabel,Chioma, Abiola, Sola, Kemi and Victoria.
Electrifying group of women in this cohort. Always a great joy to learn from giants and geniuses at the Lagos Business School Women in Leadership programme. #womeninleadership#Lagosbusinessschool@ibukunawosika@lagosbusinessschool

Aisha Abimbola was a great actress. I loved alot of her movies on DSTV's Africa Magic Yoruba. She was a very good actress who got into her characters with ease.
May the Lord comfort her family.

HE's Nuggets #144: Feedback
Writer and philosopher Elbert Hubbard wrote, “The final proof of greatness lies in being able to endure criticism without resentment.” By this standard, David was a great leader.
Taking feedback is so tough for some of us especially when it comes from unusual quarters. Sometimes the feedback could knock you off your feet, when it comes, learn to laugh over it and move on instead of taking offense.

God bless my mum.... Growing up I used to wonder if she really was my mum? But now am glad she was so tough and firm.
My very hard working mum, still tough as a nail. May she last forever!!!!!

HE's Nuggets #143: Focus on skills, not certificates.
Do you have a skill that people will gladly pay for. They will do so if your skill solves a problem or meets a need. Please check yourself after all the certificates.... Whose problem can you solve?
Can you cook and solve hunger and taste problems, business problems, planning, business education
....beyond certificates, what can you offer?
