Tuesday's 9:00-10:15 am Yin/Yang Moderate with Cedar! This class combines a more vigorous (yang yoga) practice with a more passive (yin) practice. Yin Yang Yoga (or Taoist Yoga) is rooted in the idea that, to create balance in your overall practice, you need to both exert and quiet yourself. Come check it out!

Join us this afternoon to welcome Padma to hemma. Throughout this afternoon, Padma will be sharing vast wisdom and clear insight on both our eternal and human existence. After an initial short meditation, Padma will reveal what meditation is and how to sit comfortably. She’ll explain the key steps in establishing an effective practice and guide you through time-proven techniques. You’ll learn soothing, foundational, breathing techniques and enjoy some focusing sound-vibration meditation.

Yoni Yoga combines chakra yoga with pelvic awareness exercises that explore blockages & pain in the pelvic region, helping women open up to their female sensual power. Societal messages, shame, fear, degradation, stiffness, holding & overall pain will be addressed, in order to connect women’s hearts with their female bodies. The class will include restorative poses to open the hips, circular rotations to invite warmth, power poses to infuse the sacral region with strength, all with guided meditations to encourage healing of mental attitudes & emotional scarring.
