Finding friends that build you up and support you isn’t easy. Especially as women. From a young age we’re programmed to compete against each other and become jealous when someone is better at something than us. But what if it was the complete opposite and we built each other up, supported one another and encouraged each other to do what we’re good at and what sets our soul on fire? That sounds like a pretty magical place and one that you can create once you recognize the positive, supportive women in your life.
So thank-you to all of the amazing friends that I have made, both near and far, that have loved be unconditionally, accepted me for all my flaws and supported me following my passions and dreams. You are all absolutely amazing and I am so incredibly blessed to have each and every one of you in my life.

How do you find balance in your life?
It’s so easy to get caught up in the daily grind but often if we don’t balance work with eating right, Relationships, time to ourselves, physical activities etc. we start to notice one way or the other. Knowing yourself and your personal needs is important as well. We’re all different and so we all need different things to be happy and feel like our amazing selves.
What do you need to feel balance in your life?
Personally, I need to be working out or doing something active 5x per week and I also need friend and family time. I’m an extrovert so I get energy from others and I love spending time with people that fill me up.
So take some time today to reflect on one thing you can do this week to feel more balanced and at inner peace.

Gratitude Sunday: I’m so incredibly lucky to have the moms that I do. Having divorced parents was hard to understand as a kid but I was blessed with amazing parents that loved me unconditionally. Each one taught me different things and it wasn’t until I became an adult that those traits and qualities were evident.
Thank-you for being so incredible, patient, understanding and loving. I’m not sure you’ll ever understand my appreciation for everything that you did for me growing up, and often are still doing today.
I wouldn’t be who I am without you. Xx

How you feel about yourself and your life is all about your perspective. There are always different options, based on our experiences and world views, but it’s still your choice.
Some people might look at this picture and think it looks cold and dark where others might find it peaceful and welcoming. It’s all about how YOU choose to see the world and how you let those thoughts affect you.

Just be yourself and the right people will come into your life and stay.
