I must admit this challenge really tested my creativity as I’m one of a traditional hatha yoga practise, However I had heaps of fun with these funky #yogahybrids .

It’s day already and the #forwardfold is a 3 legged dog or #adhomukhasvanasana variation. . #downwardfacingdog used to cause me shoulder pain. That’s because years ago when I first started yoga, I had no understanding of alignment and I was nursing frozen shoulders. .
I’m so grateful for discovering teachers that break down the postures (hatha yoga) and help you understand how the asana is built. They encouraged me to be mindful of my injuries and not to beat myself up if I couldn’t do it! .
it’s such a fabulous back of the body stretch, it stretches the shoulders, strengthens the wrists, arms and legs. .
