During the trek to Everest base camp we were gifted with some terrible weather for the first 3-4 days, turning the mule trails into a death trap of mud and animal excrement. However it wasn’t all bad as the cloud cover and storms tended to clear away giving some of the most dramatic light of the trip.
I’ve been quiet for a few months as I’ve been hard at work on lots of exciting projects which I hope to share soon (see @studioatypical for a small insight). During this time I have been shooting and back in April I spent my birthday ticking off another item from the bucket list by trekking from Phaplu to Everest Base Camp. It was a hard challenge as we did it completely independently, carrying 15kg of kit over 14 days of hard and hilly terrain. Hoping to share some of the visuals from this trip over the coming weeks. Also experimenting with some new ways of sharing my work, this was inspired by the cool insta posts of @afterschoolclub_asc. Images shot on @lumixuk G9, and powered by @goalzaro. Let me know what you think of the new format!
