Our workaholic Mother can’t celebrate Mother’s Day.
So instead, we surprised her by going to Your Face Sounds Familiar taping.
Thank you Ate Chona for your help. You were an awesome accomplice
Happy Mother’s Day, Mother Dear!
After a hectic week at work, my husband and I made it a point that we go to the Art Fair this Saturday (thanks to him who reserved online). Listening to the talks of Dr. Ambeth R. Ocampo (Collecting and Stewardship), Guillermo Paneque and Ms. Ditas Samson (Fernando Zóbel: Visual Artist, Educator and Art Patron), and watching Kidlat Tahimik’s film (Balikbayan #1: Memories of Overdevelopment Redux III) indeed educated and inspired me.
At the same time, seeing some of friends’ and other artists’ works exhibited in the Art Fair really astonished and moved me.
By the way, I would like to acknowledge Ms. Aprille Tijam of Ayala Museum for introducing me to Mr. Fernando Zobel de Ayala.
