The desert before the city. Flying into Las Vegas for #AdobeMax #makeitimpactful #adobepartner

80 Degrees North.
A piece of glacial ice in Svalbard, Norway, shrinking by the day due to climate change. #ad By documenting these changing landscapes, I hope we can impact the public’s consciousness, understanding and love for our beautiful and fragile planet. Shot while sailing the high seas with @seilnorge on assignment for @parismatch and edited in @Lightroom. #makeitimpactful @adobecreativecloud

Sharks circle a living bait ball inside Johnny Morris’ @wondersofwildlife National Museum and Aquarium in Springfield, MO. I photographed the museum's epic grand opening yesterday for @Natgeo and @bassproshops and you can see more on the @natgeo Instagram story today!

I wanted to extend a very, very belated THANK YOU for all the kind birthday wishes! I got to spend my birthday week with friends and colleagues at the Visa Pour L'image photojournalism festival in Perpignan France and watch my photography project "Mushing Culture in Alaska" projected-heres a clip! (Alaska musher friends I wish you could have been there to see your rugged, Northern dogs and rugged Northern faces looming large in the south of France on a giant screen in a medieval amphitheater filled with elegantly dressed Europeans. It was very fitting :)

We built a boat! Before I leave Red Hook yet again, I wanted to share some pics of one of the main highlights of my summer from just a block away from home- Boat Building with Bob class at the amazing @supersmith! We launched our beautiful lady on Sunday and she is glorious!!! #ssstich

Red Hook Eclipsing. That was pretty cool, huh!?

A walrus colony in Svalbard, Norway. Back to work! Editing photos with @lightroom from my recent assignment in the Norwegian Arctic starting with this handsome fella and his sexy side tusk :) #ad In all seriousness though, it is truly a privilege to get to observe and be impacted by these wondrous (and wonderfully disgusting) creatures in their natural habitat. And while this guy might not look stressed out, melting sea ice and warming weather caused by climate change are challenging the survival of marine mammals in the Arctic more and more each day. #makeitimpactful #climatechange #svalbard #arctic #walrus @adobecreativecloud

Land ahoy! Back in Longyearbyen after ten days of sailing and adventures and walrus and polar bears and (pictured here) paddle boarding at 80 degrees north, fulfilling the dream I never knew I had of swimming ever so gracefully in a safety suit side by side with sea ice :) @seilnorge
