Thank you so much to @triciaj82 for a lovely #fibreshare swap. So colorful to open with a wonderful wrap job with washi tape. Swipe to see the glory of of my box ... local alpaca yarn, some speckled goodness, and silky Malabrigo; not to mention the adorable Vera Bradley zip pouch and brocade pouch from Cambodia. A girl always needs a ready supply of notions too! Thanks again Tricia.
Finally at the toe! This last week was a train wreck of other commitments so sock knitting took a backseat.
Incidentally one of those new commitments is participating in the State of Slim program. Part of that journey is increasing my activity. At one time in my life I was consistently working out between an hour to two a day. Unfortunately a move and finding a gym without meatheads proved difficult and I stopped working out. Hopefully this will help reset my metabolism and get me back to the gym more consistently. .
Happy New Year! May 2018 be so much better than 2017 ( in truth it won’t have to work hard!). I’m going to attempt the #boxosoxkal2018 . Being a realist I’m sure, in light of my other projects and work full time, I will not complete the challenge. That being said I’ve collected 14 skeins for socks, in addition to finding I have 207 sock patterns in my library to choose from.
