Beautiful door of Lanhydrock House! I have always wanted to do a mini series of drawing of dogs outside different types of doors, maybe more of an illustration style maybe... watch this space it may happen! #inspiration#nationaltrust
CELEBRATE: I always feel so overwhelmed when I get lovely feedback from my clients, especially when I’ve completed a commission for them. I really do put my heart and soul into every single one. More often then not I put way more hours into it then I allow but that’s because I want it to get it right for you, and obviously because I love my job. A lot of my commissions are of animals that have now passed so creating a piece of art that captures their favourite memory is so special. I will leave you with a few testimonials that a few of my clients have so kindly left for me... #mybrilliantbrandchallenge#mybrilliantbrand@thebrand_stylist
The ‘Roe Buck’ drawn especially for the @gallery500feet is now on display in the Gallery! We stopped off on the way down to Cornwall. We both really love this quirky little gallery, full of treasures big and small! Make sure you go and give them a visit is you are close to Lynton, North Devon.
WHO I WORK WITH? The clients I really love to work with are those who have a vision of something different, unique and challenging. I nearly always give myself a small panic when someone asks me to something out of the norm but that challenge always pushes me forward. The only problem is when commissions are booked in sometimes nearly a year in advance I’m itching to get started but have to wait, so don’t worry I’m just as eager to get started as you! But these are the commissions I live for, they are the ones I learn the most from in terms of technical skill, composition and using new mediums to create the effect desired. #mybrilliantbrand#mybrilliantbrandchallenge@thebrand_stylist
Any orders placed between the 14th - 24th September will not be shipped until I return. I will also have limited internet access so I will return all emails once I return home. I am also taking a couple of commissions with me to work on whilst I'm away so I'll try and post pics as and when I can. Thank you for you patience x
DAY 3: The Experience - Well this is something that is hugely important to me. The beauty of social media is that you are able to live through the journey with me, you see how I create my pieces, you watch them grow and develop. The other part of the experience is how you see my work, how I present it to you. When you order something from me I take the time to give you a good experience from our one to one conversations on what you would like to the final presentation of the product. I take care to wrap you prints so it’s like Christmas all year round. The little details don’t stop at my drawing, I’m a perfectionist and I hope that comes through in every aspect of my brand. I take care of it and am proud of what I have build with the help from all of you 💛 #mybrilliantbrand#mybrilliantbrandchallenge@thebrand_stylist
DAY 2 : The Magic I bring... well this is a hard one. I suppose the magic I bring is that fact that I create everything by hand, I’m the one who chooses what to draw, how I’m going to create a composition and I’m the one who actually draws it, no one else. There are millions of artist out there but there is never anyone like you. Everyone has there own way of creating their art. I put my heart and soul into every piece and pride myself on creating art that is affordable and accessible to everyone not just elite. I love that people also put their trust in me to complete a commissions for them, there is nothing more magical then listening to your clients vision and creating it as a piece of art. That’s the magic I bring ✨ #mybrilliantbrand#mybrilliantbrandchallenge@thebrand_stylist
