Wild boar laal maas - laal maas is a traditional hunter dish that would be prepared in advance and would keep for days due to the amount of spices, salt and ghee in the dish. Traditionally, wild game was used in the dish but since there was a ban put on any game hunting in India, goat is now preferred. We want to take the dish back to its roots by using wild boar. Last week we lost one of our chefs in a tragic accident above the tracks where we work in Brixton. Harrison Hood worked for us in the early days at pop, and has been with us since day one in our new spot under the arches. He was kind, loyal, hardworking, and a great chef. He will be sorely missed by all of us here at Kricket and all those who knew him. We are closing our restaurant in Brixton tomorrow to pay our respects to Harry and his family at his funeral. Our thoughts will always be with Harry, his family and friends. You will be sorely missed #riplover
