World Mental Health Day - May people be aware that mental illness isn't something to make fun of.
My father has suffered with Bipolar on and off for 26 years, his last breakdown was in 2015 where he nearly took his life. I myself was diagnossed with depression and anxiety in February this year and it's been a tough rollercoaster but I couldn't of done it without the support of my friends and family so thank you, you know who you are.
A lot of people use the term "I'm depressed" when they've had a bad day, that term is thrown around too often... Mental illness is not a joke. Mental illness shouldn't be ignored. Mental illness should be supported!
