Thanks everyone who came out to Open Streets today, especially everyone who built a ramp, helped move one, helped clean up, and always thanks to @ignition_skateshop GOOD TIMES cc: @openstreetslancaster
We could not be more excited to share the design of the Lititz Skatepark 2.0, created by @5thpocketskateparks after a number of public input meetings. There were a lot of very specific site considerations and 5th Pocket did an exceptional job of working within those restrictions. We have a lot of funds to raise to make this vision a reality, so stay tuned for upcoming fundraisers, and you can always make a tax deductible gift through the link in our bio.
Most of the pieces from the show last night will still be up @commonwheelbikes for another few weeks so stop by and check em out. Half are still for sale as well. Thanks to everyone who came out last night, we raised over $1,000 woohoo!
Thank you to everyone who came to the contest yesterday. We raised $840, which will directly support future public skatepark projects in Lancaster County. 16-pg zine covering the event available tomorrow @ignition_skateshop for $3. All money, once again, goes toward skateparks.
Today is the Extra Give in Lancaster, and while the Skatepark Association can't technically participate (we're not a 501c3), you can still make a tax deductible gift to our fund hosted with the Community Foundation. We just made a large (for us) grant for a skatepark project that we'll be excited to announce soon, but we have a long, long way to go, and we can only do it with your help. Link in bio, and thanks!
