“Communication is key, and all retailers would prefer to hear the complaint first hand, and have an opportunity to address and resolve an issue, rather than become the Evil Shop Queen in the next Frocky Horror story.”
Another brilliantly penned piece full of wise words from the @luxebrideUK team over on Love My Dress today. Another one to absolutely bookmark or print off and add to your wedding files ladies.

If Carlsberg did bows But, they don't, and @jesuspeiroofficial do them better than anyone! Ladies, I've worked in weddings since 2009 now and have a book of brilliant contacts bursting at the seams (ahem, see @littlebookforweddings). One of the bridal fashion brands I simply love to recommend is the wonderful @jesuspeiroofficial.
Jesus Peiro bridal gowns are hugely popular with Love My Dress readers. This wonderful Spanish based company who is stocked extensively throughout the UK is renowned for it’s modern, elegant and feminine designs. A Jesus Peiro wedding dress is sophisticated, light to wear, playful in design and highly wearable.
See our Stories this evening (or our 'Jesus Peiro' story highlights) for a sample of gowns from their latest collection which debuted in Barcelona in April 2018. We have a very close working relationship with Jesus Peiro who have proved themselves to be a family run business who care enormously for all their brides. This isn't a bit corporation churning out frocks to get rich, but a company who really care about their clients. We cannot recommend them more highly. If you have any questions at all about fit, dress modification or perhaps sourcing a gown you can’t find anywhere – do let us know, we will connect you with the Jesus Peiro team who will be delighted to help you. A xx

Just some of the gorgeous things I'm admiring right now over at @Prezola I adore this company and all the super-cool brands it stocks. You *need* to be following dear brides and grooms, if you're not already #LMDPrezola#prezola
If you follow Love My Dress closely enough, you're probably already aware that I'm rather passionate about supporting my fellow business owners who work in weddings. There are so many successful, female led businesses (not discounting the wonderful gentleman by the way) that are providing exceptional experiences and services and in a time when these businesses are often at the receiving end of mainstream media criticism or TV mockery, I really just want to trounce all over that and shine a beautiful light on these hard working individuals for what they do.
So true to my word, we've just published a bloody good read of an article this morning on Love My Dress, that addresses, in honest detail, why you ought consider shopping for your dress at a reputable bridal boutique (that would be any of the members of @luxebrideuk). Grab yourself a cuppa and settle down to read these inspiring, no-nonsense and enlightening words, penned by the ever-articulate Emma Marshall of @missbushbridal, on behalf of Luxe Bride.
"A brilliant boutique stylist is like the perfect combo of fashion expert, wedding planner, hairdresser, counsellor, barman, BFF and fairy godmother. A stylist takes confessions, builds self-esteem, diffuses tension, listens, and has boundless patience. It’s hard to pin-point how a stylist learns their craft, as there isn’t a handbook or a training course. An encyclopaedic knowledge of venues, styling tips, photographers, traditions and customs can’t be taught, but instead is acquired over years."

Ladies! There's a fantastic event taking place at @missbushbridal between 19th and 23rd June, where designer brand in residence will be wonderful @eandwcouture.
I first spotted this brand at a trade event earlier this year in London and was absolutely smitten. E&W Couture was founded by designer Sophie Creed and are based in Wales - everything is lovingly handcrafted. Sophie is all about the #bridalrevolution - creating for the free spirited individual who is keen to step away from the bridal fashion mainstream and wear something different on their wedding day. Anyway darlings, full details over at:
