I have been working crazy hours this week getting two huge documents out. Done. Now I am taking this beautiful lady out to lunch. I just like to reminder on weeks like this how much I appreciate her doing everything around the house and with the kids, cooking, cleaning so I can completely focus on writing. Love you @leannepotter_live 😍

Freedom to me is the choice I have to work when and where I choose. My favourite and most productive time is from 5am to 7am. The house is quiet, no phone, no distractions. I have a break when the kids get up and ready for school. Spending that time with them in the mornings is so important. Then it's back to work. The early start means some days I need to take it easy after lunch and that's OK because I have already punched out some really productive time. When's your most productive???

Stand up for what you believe in even if that means you stand alone. Today I had to step up and insist another much larger company stop using my trademarked name. It wasn't a big deal but what was important it's the old truth that what you allow, will continue.

It's Monday and a bit hard to get the cogs turning. This week I'm churning out strategies so I have reduced my face to face meetings to free up my mind for creative work.

Cutting and collecting fire wood is a major task over Autumn. We need a lot of good dry timber to burn in both our Aga, for cooking, and the large heater that runs our hydronic heating system. My father in law always says collectiong wood warms you three time. Cut, collect and burn. .

I have a weekend planned of pottering around the house doing all those jobs that need doing before winter arrives. That's my favourite and most relaxing type of weekend. Especially when there's a good bottle of red waiting at the end. 🍷🍷🍷Whatever you do enjoy. @preview.app

Yes, of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advice too.

If now is not the right time, when is? What are you putting off that if you did it today would potentially change everything? Today my focus is on managing my time. I have started using the pomodoro method. 25 minute blocks of intense work then a break. It makes me more productive ad I'm dealing with stuff much easier. .

People try to impress others with the technology they use. The newest, lastest however the most impressive technology is what you create with it.

Technology is moving forward which makes it easier for the dreamers to tell their story and artists to pain their pictures.

Is it time to change gear? Change can be scary but it's much more scary to allow fear stopping you from growing, evolving and progressing. .
