After around 3 months in Asia, coming back to the Norwegian winter was brutal! Still, I had to go to the snowy mountains to see and photo one of the most fascinating things I know of: the river of stars, our milkyway.
When my journey started in December, the first photo I uploaded was from this park, Benjakitti in Bangkok. I thought it would be nice to finish where I started, so here is one more from the same place, just a little different angle. I should probably also use this opportunity to thank everyone who have engaged in my journey with likes and comments, so there you go, thanks!
There's a temple in the Phasi Charoen district in Bangkok, called Wat Paknam. Inside the temple area you can't avoid seeing the 80m high stupa called Maharatchamongkhon. Inside the stupa there's a elevator that will take you to the 5th floor. When exiting the elevator you will find yourself in this mildly psychedelic and moderately surrealistic room. This is really a place worth visiting when in Bangkok, and it doesn't seem like its too "touristic"...there was almost no people there when I visited!
This is the night view from Lebua tower, also known from the movie Hangover 2. Its one of the worlds highest skybars, so naturally the view from here is spectacular! Bangkok is so big, no matter what direction you look, it's just a never ending city view...
Anyone for a swim? This is the view of Koh Samuis west coast, or at least parts of it. It's shot with a drone from Laem Yai, a really nice place for relaxing, photoing, flying drones and stuff like that.
This photo is so green and strange. It's because of the reflecting lights from the fishing boats in the horizon. If you take a closer look, you can also see a lot of stars in the darker part of the sky. The photo is captured in Laem Yai, Koh Samui, facing north.
