Folks! It's been a while and I'm so sorry!
I haven't posted anything in a while but hey, I have a very good excuse for that!
As you may (or may not) know, it's been #NaNoWriMo in November and I took the chance to fully work on my novel without any distraction. Time flew by and even though I thought about posting some snazzy picture on Instagram, I couldn't bring myself to do it because I've been very busy working on my novel. Or crying over it. That's more like it. Anyway! I reached the 50K mark on the 26th of November and not only it was my very first time participating, it was also my first time WINNING and not even on the final day!
The novel is not finished, I'm planning on fully writing the first draft before the Christmas madness so I'm already sorry if you won't see me around here again for a while, but I do really believe in this project and since I'm really striving for a chance to break it into the “published author” world, I have priorities.
Starting Monday, I will get back into the world I've created and I hope to see you all on Twitter, rolling your eyes at my lack of patience and sprinting with me until the very end!
.

In other news, I finished #OurDarkDuet this morning and OMG. @veschwab knows how to break my heart! The duology was INCREDIBLE and so BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN and PLEASE, CAN I HAVE MORE OF AUGUST? I will post a book review very soon, once I figure out what to do with all these feelings.
I'm now starting #RadioSilence by @aliceoseman and I'm super excited to start! Alice is just amazing, the kinda friend I'd love to have and who knows, maybe one day we'll be talking about our books together, drinking tea and eating cookies. .

So, that's it for now! I want to know what you guys are reading and which book you're most excited for this new year! Also, have you read Radio Silence? How didi you like it? .
Don't forget there's a #bookgiveaway going on (link on my bio) where you can win 50 books! That sounds pretty amazing to me! Also, if you're looking for a friend to #sprintwriting with you, let me know so we can sprint together!

"To lie by his side, and in his arms, and on his dear bosom, and be called by names of tenderness, I have never yet heard used to me before – was bliss beyond belief!" - Queen Victoria-

Who else is obsessed with the tv series “Victoria”? I have been since the very first episode of season one! Being very curious and wanting to learn more every single day about English History, I found myself really, truly enjoying this show.

Victoria is just amazing! As a very young Queen, she knew what she wanted and what was right and never let anyone tell her that she wasn't made to be Queen. I loved her, I loved the way she sounds and acts so fierce and her passion and devotion for her country, her family, is so strong that I looked up to her whenever I felt down. Being 18 and the Queen of England could have scared her, I'm sure it did, at some point, but that never showed. It's not that she didn't have her moments, she did, but she was so strong and fierce, a force of nature, an example to follow. I think every girl, woman, should watch this show and be enlightned and inspired by the grateness of Queen Victoria.
An aspect I did really enjoy, although Lord Melbourne was quite the charm, I have to admit, is her relationship with Albert. They were so different: Alberto all mind, thoughts and calculus, Victoria all heart, passion and guts. But somehow they were so perfect for each other, the ying to the yang, they complemented each other so perfectly you really think there couldn't have been someone else for the both of them. And I blush every single time Albert (Tom Hughes) calls Victoria (Jenna Coleman) “Liebes”. I bloody love this show so much and I recommend it to every single person! Also, it really got me into tears last night because everytime there's a good news, there is always the other side of the spectrum!
Watch this show, guys! And if you already are, please, cry with me because we have to wait until December for the Christmas special! Something else to be excited for!!!

“And here in Prosperity, Kat had found a purpose, a point, and now when she met her gaze in the mirror, she didn't see a girl who was sad or lonely or lost. She saw a girl who wasn't afraid of the dark.
She saw a girl who hunted monsters.
And she was damn good at it.”
Our Dark Duet by V.E.Schwab-

I'm having a reading slump right now. It shouldn't be because I have #OurDarkDuet to read and I LOVED the previous book, but somehow I just can't pick it up and start reading it even though I really want to.
I am also struggling with my WIP because I have lots of ideas but I just can't give them a place and I still miss some bits but I talked to a girl on Twitter yesterday and she absolutely made me feel better about it. I think I give my best whenever I'm under pressure or when I'm challenging someone through #writingsprints so if you're up for those, let me know because I could use some writing right now!

I went on a walk this morning and let me tell you, it wasn't cold at all. I am missing England so bloody much! Autumn doesn't feel like Autumn and I just want to wear all the jumpers and the cosy scarf and the beanies #UGH But I lit all the candles, all of them and made the whole house smell like a bakery!
What is it like where you live? Does it feel like #WinterIsComing or more like #SummerVibes?

Something spooky this way comes! It's #FridayThe13th people! We truly are getting closer to Halloween! Here, in Italy, Halloween is not something that's celebrated, yes, there are parties but just because it's a reason to make some mess and get drunk. I've always loved Halloween. I've always loved the mystery and the spooky and the paranormal. I believe in the power of the Moon and I do believe that my granda has given me the clairvoyance powers, my dreams are so vivid and sometimes, well, a lot of the times, the stuff that I dream, even the most unbelievable, happens.
This is my favourite time of the year, where people see the fog and just that, instead I see the magic of the air, the presence of something beyond this earth, it may sound crazy but coming from a family who could see gosts, I don't think I'm that weird.
.
.

Speaking of spooky, I #amwriting a new novel, something I'm working on for months but haven't actually started yet because I did some research and stuff and next month #nanowrimo starts and I'm so excited! It's kinda paranormal, but not a horror, it's definitely ya and it's set in Victorian England, aka, my favourite England.
What are you working on? Have you already planned to join NaNoWriMo? I hope to see you all there!!!!
Stay spooky!

What a great day! This morning, despite the wind blowing us away, me and my mum decided to go to the market and wander around. After one hour we ended up buying something at a local store nearby and among all of the stuff, a sweater which I've already put on after a quick shower. My wordrobe is lacking in everything comfy and cozy, you would never guess my favourite season is Autumn! But I hope to find some stuff online too, so I can wear decent clothes without going crazy every time I'm headed out!
.
.

Talking about books, which is my favourite subject if you ask me, I have read and finished #TheScorpioRaces in two days!!! I absolutely loved it to pieces! Thanks you Cait – aka @paperfury – your advice is always on point! I'm actually trying to write a review of the book but it's slowly turning into an ode to @maggie_stiefvater as usual! I have loved #TheRavenCycle SO MUCH I wanted to read more by her and The Scorpio Races was a very good one to keep on reading!
.

What are you reading at the moment? What are your plans? What's on your #TBR for this month of October? I hope to finish #OurDarkDuet because it's so good and I had to stop because I didn't feel well to keep reading or do anything in general.
I have some other books on my TBR which I will tell you more about later!
Stay tuned!

It's finelly #autumn even ouside! Today is a proper autumn day where the fog confuses you and the rain makes you feel like being home. I've Always loved this combo! I #amwriting a paranormal novel set in Victorian England (my absoute favourite!) and today I feel very inspired by the weather! I can finally wear long sleeves and trousers and jackets (and find a place to put my hands in aka the pockets!) I don't know how I did it without this gloomy weather but I missed the rain so much and waking up to the sound of it and realizing it's actually foggy outside makes me want to wear my raincoat and go on an adventure in the forest! But since today I didn't, here's a picture of a sunny day, when I was heading to the post office to send something special. 🎃🍂📮

“... Is this what it was like to be human? And then he looked down at the man's corpse, and a quite sadness crept through him like a chill. Suddenly normal felt so far away. It was a cruel trick of the universe, thought August, that he felt human only after doing something montrous. Which made him wonder if that brief glimpse of humanity was really just an illusion, an echo of the life he'd taken. An impostor sensation.
Leo's voice came to him, simple and steady.
This is what you do. What you are.
Ilsa's rose to meet it.
Find the good in it.”

I finished reading #ThisSavageSong two months ago and now I'm into the second book #OurDarkDuet and I have to say I loved it so much! I can't speak for the second yet, but the first book was so amazing! So different but still the monster wanting to be human is a thing old like the world. I loved August SO MUCH!
The review will be up on the blog I think this week, I have written it but not sure yet, I feel like there's so much more to say about it!
But anyway. What book have you been reading and stole your heart completely? This savage song by @veshwab was one of those!

Listening to Bleachers while it's raining outside is a pleasure I didn't understand before. I watch the leaves hanging free in the wind and kissing the ground beneathe my feet. Thinking about better days, not at all sad that they're gone. This picture is from Yesterday, when the sun still shined above us and the sky smiled at us with its best colours. I'm sitting on my bed listening to some fall music while posting this and hearing the rain outside never been such a bliss. What are you up to? What book are you reading atm? Tell me all!

Today is a bit sunny and a bit cloudy. Everytime there's the sun shining outside, I see this face having a blast, chasing the sun on the balcony or wherever she can see some and I'm in love. As much as I've been waiting for Autumn to come, I can't wait to see her face brightening up when the sun is out. #LilyThePuppy

Yestarday started with a rainstorm and everything fell apart! I LOVED IT! The fact that is Autumn now means I can actually enjoy rain and cold weather. We went out Yesterday, it was fun and adventurous and I'm planning to do so much more once I'll be back in the UK! What have you been up to? What book did you bring with you? I, for once, didn't bring any because it was a very short day and I felt like I needed that bound with mother nature and all. I'm currently planning my next read so what should I pick up next?

3

Working from the bed today! YAY! I have a headache out of this world and I can't seem to put to words straight. My eyesight got worse and I can't wait to feel normal again! Today is the very first day of Autumn and I'm very excited! I couldn't wait for this moment to come, honestly and now I can't wait to read all the books that have fall aesthetics. If you have some recommendation, tell me down below and I'll menage to give 'em a try!

Happy #AutumnalEquinox everyone! As you may or may not know, Autumn is my favourite season of all! The leaves changing colours, the sweaters (this year all mustards!) the candles, the rain, the fog, tea now it's more appropriate (even though I've been drinking it all year around!). The first day of Autumn is the best! All of my books are waiting for me to be taken pics of and read! What is your favourite Autumnal read? Mine is basically everything Maggie Stiefvater and Twilight! I know, it's kinda old my it's tradition now! If you have some great fall books to recommend me, do it in the comments below!

Good morning people! Today I'm back on the blog with new content! I've been thinking a lot about blogging and had a very hard time figuring out if it still was something I'd enjoy doing or not. I love writing but the pressure of deadlines and schedules was eating me alive! So I took some time off. These days have been important to me because I finally had the time to think it through and understand that yes, blogging is something I want to do and I could so easily see myself doing it long term. If you are curious, check out my page (link in bio!) I have three new blog posts! I also talked about my fave #booktubers (aka @woodlandspirits @thebookranter and @endpages ) and not to mention the neverending list of this month's book releases! I really hope you will enjoy them as much as I did writing them! All the love! xx

This is an excerpt from my brand new blog post (which link you can find in my bio!). In this one I wrote about all the little things we 20 somethings need to hear once in a while. I know we sometimes feel like things happen just to us and that we will never get out of some situation but the truth is, with time and encouragement, we will. Let me know what you think and if you'd like me to talk about this kinda stuff more often in the near future! All the love. xx

Breakfast of Champions! Good morning, people! How was your Easter? Mine was good, the delicious italian food totally stole the scene. I swear if I hear people talking about food, I will get sick. As I'm writing I'm on my way to some friends' house for a well deserved bbq. These beauties were still on the fridge so breakfast was served for the entire family! If you didn't know, I have two blog posts ready to be read, so if you're curious to know more about movies and upcoming tv-series inspired by somepretty amazing books, you know where to go! Also, this morning's post is all about the tv-shows I'm watching at the moment, you really don't wanna miss that, do you? Let me know what you think and please, let me know your plans for today! Cheers! xx

Today is all about editing. I have a few blog posts that need to be re-read and scheduled. I also need to start plotting my new story which is tormenting me to write down every little detail. I love writing. And I particularly love when stories start unravelling in fron of my eyes. So, it's a good day, folks! Eat all the chocolate.

The time has finally come. I tried so hard to stay away from this book as much as I could because reading it means letting this series end and I'm not ready. I'm not ready to let go of Blue, which is so much like me it scares me. Reading about her life was like looking in the mirror and seeing myself in the way she thought, she walked, she fell in love. The way she hold on to those boys and finding her own person falling abit in love with each and everyone of them, differently but madly. And the Gansey. I'm not gonna lie here, but he was by far my favourite boy of all the four, which is saying a lot. I loved them to pieces, all of them, but Gansey is special. So no, I'm not ready to let go of them, of this world Maggie created and let me be a part of when my own world was a mess. I knew I had friends to talk to, places to visit, a king to wake, ravens to feed, dreams to come true. I loved every single piece if it, every line, every comment, everything. So it's hard for me to pick this last book up and read as the story comes to an end. It's like saying goodbye to close friends and letting them go their way, without you. It's heartbreaking. But the journey, my friends, was epic and I will hold on to that, to those memories, those feeling as long as I can and when I feel like I'm forgetting something, all I'll have to do is pick those books up from the shelf and dive into that world again, and it will be like time has stopped and friends are finally together, again.

Good morning! I have a very busy day ahead: I need to write some blog posts, I also need to find some time to focus on writing my novel! The weather is not helping at all! It's a bit gloomy and I was getting used to the warmth and the blue sky and even the short sleeves! Now I'm back with my sweater on and comfy socks. #ugh Anyways, what are you guys been up to? Also, what's the weather like where you live? Cause I'm really craving some serious summer vibes here!

15

Hey folks! Yesterday I couldn't post anything on Instagram because I wrote all day and by night my eyes were burning I just turned everything off and went to sleep. If you didn't know I'm writing a book. There, I said it. I'm far away from done, though, but I'm doing it, little steps at a time! Writing a books is hard, I'm telling you; it's not like writing a blog post at all! You have to think about characters, places, a convincing plot, and let's not start talking about convincing people to read it and give it a shot! How do #Writers do that? Anyways, I'm having fun writing and I can't wait to see the whole thing coming together! Do you write? Are you planning on writing a book? Let me know so we can complain together! haha Cheers! #amwriting

I bought this book last year because I thought the cover was gorgeous (yes, I do by books just for their covers, deal with it) and I started it and I was bored. I don't know why but I just felt like it wasn't for me but everyone was talking about it and said it was really good and I felt left out. Now, since the last book I have left to read from my shelves is #TheRavenKing and I don't wanna read it yet because I already know it's gonna be glorious (and I will cry) and I'm not really in the mood for #PrideAndPrejudice or #WutheringHeights I have to read this and hopefully like it. Have you already read #TheseBrokenStars ? How did you like it?

Spring is really coming to town! Today was amazing! The sky was so blue and the sun so bright! I took a walk on my way to lunch with some friends and I felt totally and absolutely alive! I know I love winter but this year was so cold and dark and I couldn't wait to feel the warmth on my skin! I feel completely new!

5

Going out for a very casual lunch. I'm sporting my favourite pair of blue jeans with sneakers and a simple white, short sleeves t-shirt. Yes, you heard me well! The weather today is so nice I thought why not! I'm also wearing my vintage cardigan on top that belonged to my mum, just in case. What are you guys up to? Also, what's the weather like wherever you live?

Happy Sunday, everyone! How is this day treating you? Today is sunny, again! I could get used to this weather! What are you planning on doing today? I'm editing some blog posts for next week, I know, Sundays are for relax and chill but I think while the weather is this good is a pity not to take advantage of it and work with a happy heart! Also, Sundays for me are for catching up with those blog posts I missed during the week, so after finishing writing I will do just that. On another note, who's watching #thevampirediaries? I've been obsessed with it since the very beginning and thinking about this eight years coming to an end makes me wanna cry. Next week we get to watch the very last episode (could you believe it? I still have to wrap my head around it!) and it will be epic! I hope we get to see people we love finally being happy and maybe not letting Bonnie die (again). Who's your fave character? And your fave couples? I really want to know! P.s. I have new posts on the blog so if you want to can check them out!(link in bio!) All the love xx
