Change or when things happen opposite to the way that you wanted it is not always the easiest thing to deal with, but to go forward or to may progress you'll have to find the most positive way to make adjustments to the situation you have at hand.

To make the change may not even come excited to you but as long as you can find what needs to be done and do it, that is what matters the most in you going forward.

Like it or not things are going to change and if you want to have a more fulfilling journey you'll have to learn to adapt.

Change is inevitable.

When you can adapt to whatever the situation is that you are dealing with it will make it easier to communicate with others.

The reason why it will be easier for someone who is adaptable to communicate with others is that they believe in themselves, open-minded and are more resourceful.

Being adaptable is also associated with being positive, and when you are positive it leads to positive events in your life.

Remember, before you give up on that thing you want to accomplish try another approach before you do.

DON'T QUIT, MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS AND KEEP GOING FORWARD.

Besides, the answer to bridge that gap to what you are looking for may have been figured out by someone else already.

Remember, our most valuable resource is each other and when we come together more can be achieved.

Coming together can help with overcoming challenges and come up with solutions much faster especially with the pace of how things are going.

Being that we are our most valuable resource, it would be great to join with the people or group that you can leverage your creativity and experience were coming together provides mutual benefits.

Coming together can also help with finding the easiest way to achieve your goal. However, when you are thinking about collaborating with others you have to be open, honest, and also, it's important that you are on the same page.

Never forget, unity is strength and to accomplish some of our aspirations it is going to take as much coming together as possible.

When was the last time you help someone who is not in the position to help you back?

To bring out more of the positive that is in yourself can be done by being of service to others.

How you be of service to others should indeed match your lifestyle. So if it is by giving time then give time, and if it is by volunteering then volunteer.

By all means, whatever works best for you. Let's not only take from the world that we are living in but let's contribute to it the best we can.

There are people around you that can benefit from the contribution you can make and as the saying goes, "The public service we render is the rent we pay for our place on Earth." No one says you have to do more than you can, but you can always at least show kindness to someone.

By the way, if you ever find yourself feeling hopeless you change that feeling is to give hope to someone else, and in turn, you'll fill yourself with it. Let's not get tired of helping someone else to have a better day because as you send good out, good return.

If the environment that you are in is not positive, it is going to affect your outcome.

By being in a positive environment it makes it easier to be positive, and in turn, helps with bringing out the best in you and those around you.

If the people around you are critical and always negative, it is going to make it harder for you to maintain a positive outlook on life.

The people around you should believe in your dreams.

Other than the people around you, having images, quotes or affirmations can serve as a reminder to you for what you want to accomplish.

Remember, positive environments don't just happen and if you want your environment to be positive than you'll have to create it.

Love yourself enough to surround yourself with people who respect you. Because the company you keep is a reflection of how you feel about yourself.

Bear in mind outwardly the people you admire may look more composed, but that doesn't mean you should think you are less worthy.

One thing you may not know about the person you admiring and comparing yourself to is that they too may be admiring qualities they see in you as well.

So don't think you are less or you can't measure up or even think that you'll never make it.

Remember, the way to create your best life is to accept your own skills.

If you see the person that you would want to help you as someone that you think you can ever measure up to that too can make you feel less confident about yourself.

Don't let what others have accomplished make you feel inadequate.

By the way, no matter how things seem no one is perfect.

The first person you have to learn to trust is YOURSELF, and that means you don't give up on you. With that, what you say to yourself matters.

Also, in developing trust you want to avoid those who will undermine your self-trust.

Because trusting yourself requires that you keep the promises you've made to yourself and doing so helps with building self-trust.

So, the people you surround yourself with matters and to say the least, they should be supporting you.

By the way, trusting yourself doesn't mean you have to wait until you are perfect to act, but trust yourself to the point where even if you make mistakes or experience adversity you'll get back up and continue to go after what you want.

On the other hand, if you doubt yourself you may not even make the attempt to do what you want to do. Remember, to trust yourself is to trust yourself.

One thing to always remember, no one else is walking your journey, and that's why it's imperative you trust yourself.

First of all, don't take what the critics have said personally.

Not everyone is going to understand what your dreams are and because of that, they may say things that have the potential to offend you.

Just know that there are going to be people who will try to get you off your game by saying negative things to get your attention and not to help you but to distract you. By the way, choosing to do something new or Interesting is going to attract critics.

Remember, not everyone and sometimes even some of who you think would have something positive to say about your endeavors won't.

If you allow what the critics have said to matter more than what you want to be, do or have than the critics accomplish what they set off to do - distract and you don't want to give that power to the doubters, because if you do you'll not experiencing what you could have become.

Therefore, it's on you not to give what the critics, haters or doubters have said more energy than it deserves. By ignoring or being silent about what was (not letting the negativity take you off your game) you, in the end, make the progress you wanted and also maintain your dignity.

SOMETIMES THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU WON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR JOURNEY.

The best part of what you've learned comes after you start applying it.
By applying what you know you give yourself the opportunity to find out for yourself if what you've learned will work for you. Thinking about it alone will not do much for you.

Besides, if you want to experience transformation in your life, you have to apply what you've learned.

On the other hand, not everything you've taken the time to learn is going work for you, but that doesn't mean you've wasted your time. What you've learned may be applicable to something else later.

However, to ensure that you learn what will benefit you the most is to have an idea of what you want to learn. Remember, anyone can tell you what you need, but you still need to know because to get to where you want to go, learning everything may not be the answer.

By the way, after you spend the time to learning don't overwhelm yourself by worrying about making mistakes because even the most learned individuals do make mistakes at times.

The bottom line is if you want to have an edge you want to apply what you have learned.

THE SOONER YOU APPLY WHAT YOU'VE LEARNED THE SOONER YOU'LL BE ABLE TO MAKE PROGRESS AND IF WHAT YOU'VE LEARNED DIDN'T WORK, THE SOONER YOU'LL BE ABLE TO LOOK FOR A BETTER WAY.

There are many people today who are celebrating their success because someone motivated them to go after their dreams. You already know that it's important to be self-motivated, but the truth is, even those who have already achieved great success still need motivation.

By being motivated, you'll be more likely to be able to motivate someone else.

However, to be most effective at motivating others is to understand them to an extent.
Motivating others is a skill and not just because it involves understanding others but requires that you are motivated.

Remember, whatever energy you are sending out will be contagious. So being enthusiastic around others can motivate them as well.

By the way, motivation is not just for those who don't feel fired up and ready to take life on, but it is also to be given to those who are already winning because doing so can help them to become even better at what they are doing.

Even if you are superman or superwoman, no one cannot do all the work that needs to be done. So, if you can motivate someone to be more of who they want to be, by all means, you should.

After all, individually we may not solve all the problems but if we motivate others, more problems will be solved. Encourage someone today. Give someone your support. Let someone know that what they do matters.

If you are not able to subdue your impulses for long-term goals, it will take you longer to achieve what you desire. That means you have to sometimes evaluate before you take action on some of the things that are presented to you.

To achieve your goals can challenge you and being that's the case, what you have to may sometimes not pleasurable.

However, to choose what to do and what not to do is where self-control comes in.
If you are not able to control self, you may end up engaging in activities that are only pleasurable even though you may have important things to get done.

Learning how to control yourself is important especially if you want to be in control of where you direct your attention.

By the way, as you already realize self-control is an essential component for achieving the things that are of importance to you.

If I must, if you have failed to follow through or indulge in something you said you weren't going to do, don't hate yourself. It's better that you forgive yourself. Self-hatred will not help you gain more control over yourself.

Nonetheless, going forward if you want to improve your self-control do yourself a favor by first removing the temptations, develop a plan of action (or activities because you can control what you do), and you can also write down for yourself some of the consequences for not following through or sticking with your plan.

Remember, to get what you want is not only about what you do but also about what you choose not to do. No make the instant gratification get the best of you or what you want to accomplish.

NOT EVERYTHING THAT SOUNDS GOOD IS ACTUALLY GOOD FOR YOU.

To minimize distractions, you have to know what you want and where you want to go.

To get to wherever you want to go REQUIRES focus. It also requires that you have a sense of purpose because you'll be more likely be motivated.

If you are motivated to do something you are more likely to stay focused.

Besides, being able to focus is one of life most essential skill especially if you have big dreams.

There are so many things available to us that we can be a part of, and therefore it's up to you to decide where to focus your time and energy.

The truth is, it takes an incredible amount of effort to achieve the things you want out of life, and if you are distracted, of which is very easy today, you'll not get the things you desire. For start, you may just need to update your priorities.

Don't allow your mind to be taken over by the things that will take you further away from your goal.

That means you must have an aim. (goals)

To achieve your goals you have to be focused and being focused requires that you are disciplined. That is, the discipline to manage your time, the discipline to stop spending time on things that are not beneficial for the things you want out of life.

If you lack the ability to focus it can lead to procrastination, and you know what happens when you do, little or nothing gets done. If you want to get ahead, you have to get things done.

TO STAY FOCUSED BEGINS WITH KNOWING WHAT YOU WANT.

Don't be afraid to be the person who first provides value to a person, group or organization you want to build a meaningful relationship with.

When you do that you let the person, group or organization know that you are thinking how they can benefit from building the relationship with you.

In leveraging with someone else be ready to be a giver and not just a taker.

Besides, if you think win-win as Stephen Covey points out in his bestselling book, The Habits of Highly Effective People, you can have exponential growth.

What you know can help someone to win and vice-versa. Some of the people you admire know that competing with everyone is not always the best thing to do, especially if they can leverage what they know for a bigger win.

In fact, you don't have to leverage (or join forces) with those who are far ahead of you in regards to achieving success to win, you can leverage (share what you know) with someone who is at the same level or slightly ahead of you and still win big.

If you look for yourself you'll see that some of the people you are admiring now build with the people (like-minded) who were willing putting in the work with them.

The bottom line is, sometimes to achieve more you have to leverage what you know with someone else.

By the way, sometimes to win bigger you'll have to help someone else to do the same. Think win-win.

Everyone needs motivation but being able to give it to yourself will make a big difference.

If you are thinking about doing great things, achieving big goals or breaking preconceived barriers, you shouldn't be waiting for someone else to come and motivate you.

Then again, it's always good to be in an environment that will help to keep you motivated, such as a mastermind alliance meeting, workshops, seminar or conferences. Nonetheless, you want to be already feeling motivated going into any of those environments.

Remember it's your motivation that is going to determine what you do. That means you tell yourself that you can. Self-motivation is essential to goals achievement because it pushes you to its attainment.

The people who are self-motivated have figured out what motivated them and if you are to have that motivation kicking from within you have to find out what motivates you.

The bottom line is, we will work harder or go the extra mile when we are doing what we love to do.

To get to your dreams may take longer than expected and therefore, you need to stay motivated. That means other you getting it from yourself you can keep the company of motivated people, keep taking action and learn as much as you can about what you are doing.

SELF MOTIVATION IS A SKILL THAT MAKES THE GREAT GREAT.

If you can's decide you'll not achieve the goals you have set. Making a decision is vital to achieving success.

To make a decision is not always easy but it is necessary that you do. However, if you find it hard with making a decision, you may end up staying where you are or remaining in situations that you no longer want to be in.

Just to remind you, you are always one decision away from a total life and that means, you don't have to be a product your circumstances are.

One thing that you'll have to become comfortable with though when it comes to you making decisions is, you can be wrong or where things don't turn out the way you've planned it.

By the way, if you don't decide and I mean to take action that in itself is a decision and you want to allow indecision to become a part of your character.

Decide!

What successful people don't do is allow what may go wrong to deter them but focused on what can go right, and it is that possibility that drives them.

As Anthony Robbins @tonyrobbins said, "It's in the moments of decision that your destiny is shaped." Besides, if you spend your time thinking about what may go wrong and what may happen is that you only have a head full of ideas and nothing to show even though you have the ability to create the very thing that you've been thinking about.

THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE SHOULD BE IN HARMONY WITH WHERE YOU WANT TO GO AND NOT JUST WHERE YOU ARE.

One thing that we cannot do and that is slow the time down, but what we can do is manage ourselves better. No matter what you do, you cannot turn the day into 26 hours. It's going to be 24 hours no matter what.

Self-management is about doing the best we can with the time we have. That is managing self and not time. Besides, to do the best we can is about how well we can manage our thoughts and emotions.

It's important to manage ourselves is because life doesn't always give us what we want, but with self-control, self-discipline and the inner drive, we'll be able to find a way to make life work.

It is also important that we know what to accept, what to ignore, and what we are going to commit ourselves to.

By the way, lack of commitment can be lack of self-management and to manage ourselves the best we can is not to allow ourselves to say yes to everything.

We have to realize that it's not the content in itself that comes to us is the problem, is when we stop to pay attention to everything. Remember we are in charge of what strategy, principles or steps we follow. If we try to follow everything we may find ourselves going in circles.

One last thing, learn to keep what you want to get done close and if there is something you been putting off doing is to get clear on the action that you need to take.

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO SAY NO BECAUSE THAT IS PART OF MANAGING YOURSELF WELL.

Let's not only search just for what is entertaining, but also search for what will educate and empower us.

In becoming the best version of ourselves we may not need all the answers, but we do need answers. Being that's the case, we'll have to look for them and remember, not everything we need to know is going to be giving to us.

Besides, if all we know is what they've told us, we may later find that we are uninformed or misinformed.

Research is a skill that is important and you don't have to be assigned a prestigious job of any sort to carry-out a research. If there is something that is of interest to you, look it up so you can understand more about what sparks your curiosity.

What you find may not only liberate you but can liberate others as well.

Just know that whatever you're interested in is easier to find and thanks to #Google. Information is your fingertips so don't wait for someone to provide you with the answers to something that is of interests to you, go-ahead and start doing some digging for yourself.

Besides, it's the individuals who have the proclivity of looking for answers are the ones who normally finds them, but in the process of searching, they also learn more about themselves.

Stress management is an important skill especially knowing that things sometimes go differently from what has planned.

In fact, being able to manage or eliminate stress can be what leads to you thriving despite the added tension around what you are doing.
