The nearest small town is about 100km away... right in the middle of nowhere... what a monumental landscape this giant #gorge hidden deep in the #Queensland #outback... and this was Nowhere during #sunrise... 😊

A short stint in #Bali brought me to #Ubud, probably my favourite place there. This time I wasn't really there for photography but to do a #Biochar workshop for @emashitamindonesia but there was this one shot I wanted and it made it worth while getting up at 5am to be there at #sunrise... It was overcast that day but as it always is in live, you gotta deal with what you get... πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸΌ

Hi peeps, something different for a change... Enjoying the early morning sun with my dear friend @smilelykumeanit showcasing one of her own creations... This super sporty reversible #bikini... Check out her page @srilouisebikinis to see her collection... πŸ˜‰

... and one more time... Din Din #barronfalls just because... 😜

... and then it stopped raining... Back at Din Din #barronfalls soooo good. (disclaimer, this footage was not taken from the railway station because it is illegal to launch drones from there)

Din Din #barronfalls near #Kuranda is roaring again. What a wet season and what a #waterfall We already had 150mm around lunchtime and it is still raining... The power of the tropics unleashed... πŸ˜„

Feeling like letting go, getting lost, just floating in a moment...
No better place for that than Far North Queensland #fnq! πŸ˜„

Just a few ideas for early morning #drone shoots but I might call this Take 1... Stay tuned for Take 2

How lucky... Eventually the clouds opened up and gave way to this very rare #fullmoon #Supermoon that was also a #lunareclipse and #Bloodmoon once in a #bluemoon... these are the moments when your beloved 70-200mm just doesn't quite cut it... 😜

There was this French dude once, painting a bridge over a pond with water lilies... over and over again... at different times of the day, different times of the year... he eventually became known as one of the founders of Impressionism, Claude Monet. If he had lived in Cairns he might have chosen this spot... when I'm there I kinda get what he was after... πŸ™πŸΌ

Maaaan I'm so not a morning person... sometimes I wish I'd live on the west coast so I could get a sunset across the ocean rather than a #sunrise... 😜

I'm not a #storm chaser actually... not yet anyway... but the recent #lightning activity around #Cairns was just too tempting... No rain, no wind and what spectacular skys... πŸ˜„
