From beach side photo shoots during sunsets to trying to fill tables at clubs, Los Angeles has been a wild ride. Honestly most days I’m numb to it all because so much in my life has changed in a month. I was living in a little cabin on a mountain with no cell reception just 30 days ago. Sometimes it’s easy to feel small and forgettable in a city so vast, which honestly made today one of the best days I’ve had in a long time. Spending the afternoon with my family really grounded me and put my life into perspective. A flaw of mine is being very impatient with my success. I mean like why am I not a billionaire yet? But in all seriousness, doing simple things with the ones you love like walking dogs around the park can honestly just trigger your reset button and make you feel ready to take on the world again. What did you guys do today? How are you? I’d love to know
What’s a storm without a little bit of lightning? What’s love without a little bit of fighting? What’s your guys favorite lyrics right now / of all time? Looking for some beautiful and inspiring words! See you in the comment section
It’s sad how little encouragement and praise people need in order to chase down their dreams Tell me about someone you’re really proud of for leading with their heart in the comment section
I’ll go first! I’m incredibly proud of my sister @julesbeautydesign for finding and fighting for her passion in her later 20’s, and she’s making it happening with her cosmetology career. We always hear about these stories about child prodigies who were born basically playing the violin or throwing a football. We hear about those stories because they’re so simple and unrealistic. The real magic is making it through life, trying new things, learning from your failures, and having the courage to wake up the next day and GO DO even when you’re feeling aimless. Jules’s work ethic and passion has always been so vibrant, even though we don’t talk much I love you tons and am always proud of you.
