She’s newly 2, and sometimes the pacifier is a battle I’m not willing to fight. Each of our children have used and loved pacifiers (babas) for nearly 3 years. My dentist husband is not opposed, and in my “professional parent expert” opinion (😉), the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I get a lot of questions about this, so I thought I’d address it! I personally cannot stand them past a certain age, but the calm and comfortable and constant they bring is important to them, and to me.
I am in beautiful New York City on the first days of Spring! Yesterday, I visited @SeventhGeneration's Root In event at Grand Central Station (one of my favorite places in this amazing city). Did you know that if every household in the US replaced a 4 pack of 240 sheet virgin fiber toilet paper with recycled toilet paper, we could help save over 740,000 trees? Little changes have the potential for Big Difference for our precious environment. More in my stories! #SaveaTreeSwapTP 📷@anagambuto
Jack is constantly on the go from one sport to the next. Treating his asthma beforehand is critical, and the Phillips InnoSpire Go portable nebulizer has been a welcome addition to his active lifestyle. This portable, battery operated mesh nebulizer is easy for Jack to bring with him to practice and school, as it delivers treatment in 4 minutes* and holds 30 uses before it needs to be recharged. For our young adult, all of these features enable him to go about his busy life without fussing too much while around friends and going from one thing to the next. More info on my blog! There is something so empowering about being confident in yourself and the financial choices you make. Did you know @blackrock’s Investor Pulse Survey showed that less than half of U.S. women (46%) feel confident they’ll have the income they need in retirement? I realize how important it is to feel financially stable on a long-term basis when I think of my senior years and how that might affect my children. When I started investing in a retirement plan (a simple 401K through my employer years ago), I was incredibly nervous. But the more I researched and became financially aware, the more confident I felt in the future I am building for myself. #investorpulse#ad
