The drive inland from Morocco’s Mediterranean Coast through Oued Laou Gorge is one of the country’s most dramatic drives. This region receives some of Morocco’s highest levels of rainfall and contains thick pine and cedar forests, the only remaining Moroccan fir, and home to the endangered Barbary macaques, the only primate native to #Morocco. It borders Talassemtane National Park, a government initiative to protect Moroccan flora and fauna from extinction. Photo by @ErikaSkogg // link in her bio for new book on photographing in Morocco.

Escape | Photograph by Stavros Kesedakis
“An EF2 tornado posed a threat to everyone escaping its path in the streets on May 7, 2016 in Wray, Colorado. An amazing storm chasing experience that changed my life since it was my first real tornado chase,” writes #YourShotPhotographer Stavros Kesedakis. “A moment of mixed feelings of admiration and fear for nature’s power surfaced, and definitely shaped who I am today. While others prefer sun, beaches, monuments, or architectural destinations, I find my best experiences are a different kind of trip: chasing tornadoes in the U.S.”

“I’m fascinated by storm chasers and those who document powerful storms like this. From seeing this image I can just hear the wind picking up and the awe of witnessing the power that mother nature has. I’m also sure it would be terrifying to witness this as well, so great work being able to document this image as it happened before you.” — @natgeoyourshot Senior Producer Matt Adams (@themattadams)

Iguazu Falls is clearly one of the greatest waterfalls in the world. It isn’t the biggest in terms of height or water flow, but it is the most impressive in terms of sheer visual impact.

After visiting last October, I was able to visit both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the border. My opinion on which side is better is that the Argentine Falls are better, but they are better seen from the Brazilian side.

This photo is of Argentina but taken from Brazil.
