I’m jumping on the party train in celebrating the amazing artist that is Meg Loeks. I’m always in awe of the amazing tones she achieves and her wonderful compositions! I’m most inspired by her indoor low light photos. I know that my photography has been inspired in some way by viewing her amazing photos! ~ This community can be so large but can be brought together by acts of kindness. That is what @meg_nlo does daily. She has helped build this tightknit community of friends, mothers, and artists. She takes the time to mentor and support. So in honor of her hitting 150 k, we are spreading the love. #meghits150
Brothers | December 2018 ~ . Here is a more traditional photo of my boys. We actually had some changing of the leaves this year. There were light snowflakes one day and that may have helped! It’s pretty spotty but it is still so amazingly beautiful and magical to see the different colors. Our December typically looks more like fall, but I hasn’t been this pretty in years!
HOW I EDIT | Sooc Loop BW | SOOC | COLOR . A good photo begins in the camera but a great photo is dependent on how it has been edited. In an effort to show photographers just starting out how Lightroom and Photoshop impacts an image, I've teamed up with some amazingly talented artists for a project called #OurEditLoop. . . This is my edited photo. Swipe left to see the SOOC image and follow this loop around to see how these other incredible photographers edit their work. Next up is @vironica
Everyday Shadows | 2018 I just love that nugget head shadow! I love that I can see a glimpse of everyday life on my shelves. Including a bottle of Flonase! Ha! Also a cherished print from @vimpt that survived the Hurricane Harvey flood is on my shelf! I realize I never formally thanked them for this amazing print. More in my story!
Eyes | Ford Elliot | 2018 . Another low light portrait...never tire of them. I am also falling more and more in love with grain. Anything that emulates real film gets me excited! I used to remove grain, but now I think it adds to most photos!
