Dinner last night at the one Michelin star “Jose Carlos Garcia Restaurant @jcgrestaurante was beyond expectation.
In a relaxed atmosphere overlooking both the marina and hillside castle in Malaga, we sat down enjoying the extensively delicate tasting menu.
All I could add was that it was blissfully perfect.
The menu was so large that I have to share it in 3 posts. . .

Yesterday’s dinner event was for the wonderful people who, at the “Seenaryo” charity auction bought my “Lebanese with a twist” table.
I transported them to a Middle Eastern table filled with our root treasures, plants and herbs.
They were welcomed with our traditional drink “Arak” but it had to be @araktouma as it is simply the best.
1st course was Fattet El Batenjan, a cooked aubergine in tomato sauce with tahini yoghurt and crispy bread.
2nd course was invisible raviolis stuffed with Baba Ghanouj, cheese rolls, spinach bindles, Kibbeh Samak and tabbouleh rolls.
3rd course was sayediyeh with 3 sauces. Tajine, spicy tomatoes, and coriander fish sauce.
For dessert I served Baklava cake with milk ice cream.
No Lebanese meal is complete without the digestive orange blossom hot drink or as we call it “invisible coffee”. The wine was donated by @chateaustthomas Thomas.
My guests not only appreciated their generosity but also highly regarded the wine for its great taste.

For breakfast, I served “La Tarte Du Paradis” as my hubby nicknamed it.
A puff pastry square with ham, gruyère cheese, sun dried tomatoes, quail eggs, fresh thyme and a drizzle of truffle oil complimented by avocado and homegrown salad leaves. . .
