In this world we live in, we need peace and a whole lot of structure and that was one of the major goals for Rev. King. I do believe we are trying our best but at the end of the day it’s a two way street and something has to give, but nonetheless, I do believe King would be proud (despite our current circumstance at the moment with Trump) because of the huge strides from the 50’s-60’s and OUR era. We are no longer segregated, we are (somewhat) equal and all seems right. Like I said though: We still have a long way to go. “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” #mlk
I think I’m honestly already doing it: Being SELF motivated to do the things that MAKES me happy. What does make me afraid is the idea of losing those things that makes me/you happy. I dance, do photography and am, very soon, picking up ANOTHER hobby, and the thought of not having the tools and TIME terrifies me, but despite all of that. Being self motivated AND knowing it makes me happy...that is what I’ll be doing even though it makes me afraid, but let me know. What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
