It takes a lot of work to be this moderately attractive...and moderately athletic.

Graduated to the real treadmill tonight at PT. You'd think I'd be happy but i hate the treadmill. Four whole minutes of running! I got the okay to go to the track and walk a lap then run the straight aways and walk the curves for a lap until I hit a mile. Look out now. No road running yet. I think my therapist told me that five times. At one point he said "you really love to run on the road". I said "no I just love to run outside". A little sad no more anti-gravity treadmill but that means my hip is getting better. Maybe I'll be able to train for a Turkey trot . One can only dream. ♀️♀️♀️ #runneralmostrunning#notreadmills#boorunninginside
It's not always pretty smiling running photos. Therapy is boring, sometimes hurts and most of the time not fun. I go and do everything as best I can. I do my exercises at home because I'm not going to let this damn hip get me down. In high school I tore my hamstring meters out of the starting blocks at state track meet. I ran, or rather dragged my leg, 150 meters till the finish. Some times I think it was the dumbest thing I've ever done. Some times I think it was one of the strongest things i have ever done. You may call it stubborn. I call it determination. I'm determined this hip won't prevent me from getting to that finish line again. It may not be another half but it will be a finish line. #Imakeeprunningcauseawinnerdontquitonthemselves#whoamimkidding#norunningallowedyet#gettingthereslowly#runnernotrunning#injuriessuck
