Award winning jewellery for those in love with nature, the British countryside and the coast #naturelovers #inspiredbynature
This week has past me by somewhat! I've received some lovely orders alongside some rather tight deadlines & gosh, am I happy to have reached Friday with the finish line in near sight! .
Having your own business can be like that sometimes, a bit of whirlwind, you never know what type of project can come your way from one week to the next! Speaking of projects, I'll be working on my Etsy store a fair bit over the next month - adding new work after my busy summer sale.
The summer sale runs until the end of July. I'd highly recommend popping over to my Etsy shop for a quick nose
Have a sun-filled weekend all xo
I've been working on a number of these little beauties today. So dainty and versatile!
I have the entire collection to complete ready for a photography day in a few days time and then they'll all be off to pastures new ready to be sold in a fabulous gift shop. The range will include necklaces, earrings, keys and a brand new bracelet design which I hope to share next week! xo
Weekends should involve doing something you truly love!
I'll be catching up with a friend for coffee, relaxing in the garden and am aiming to have a little play with some polymer clay ideas (it's something I really enjoy but don't often get the time to do it!) Where will the weekend take you? I hope it involves something you truly love! xx
Despite doing this for over 10 years I still get excited when a delivery of new materials is on route! Lots of yummy copper arrived this morning just in time to start work on a new order for a gallery. I've also listed this gorgeous mini Dandelion on both my website and Etsy store - ideal worn with a summer/ maxi dress don't you think?! X
And so the heat wave continues here in the UK! My weekend has mostly consisted of pottering in and out of the garden (deciding whether it's too hot or not!) watching football and snippets of Wimbledon!
I've also been researching 1940s jewellery - I always class this as a bit of treat as am fascinated with the style of the 40s and in particular cluster rings.
This photo of lovely white summer blossom was taken while walking around gardens at Trematon Castle near Saltash, such a pretty place
Before going away, my holiday preps included making a variation of a Make A Wish Necklace for myself. I fancied something a little casual and understated so created the necklace with an extra long 32 inch length chain. I'm so pleased I did! It was my go to beach necklace and barely took it off all week!!! Do you find you have go-to jewellery that you reach for each morning? I may have to go for a variation of the earrings next!
This necklace along with designs is available from my etsy store, link in bio xo
10 days, 3 pasties and 18 scoops of icecream later and I've been back in the studio today! A poor effort in the pasty count department but I think I made up for it in other areas!! (Thanks to @wavesbarseaton and Dogs and Donuts @langagefarmdairy@langage_farm_instagram for keeping me topped up with delicious icecream!)
I bought some fab little items while away including a lovely vase from @pinklemonsboutique in Looe and the dinkiest milk jug made by @suroweceramics from @rockpool_trading in Plymouth.
Today also just so happens to be #independentsday here in the UK hence the mention of some fab little boutiques I found. It's a day to celebrate and purchase from your favourite independents - perfect timing if you fancy a browse this evening as my Etsy store is also now re-open! xx
"I would take the stars out of the sky for you
Stop the rain from falling if you asked me to
I'd do anything for you"
It's seems the weather forecast was right, to say it would rain today here in Plymouth is a teeny tiny bit of a understatement but I'm not put off in the slightest!! We're off for a day nosing around galleries and shops near the Marina & Barbican.
English breakfasts and...err...cake may also be involved! It's a hard life!
Happy Sunday xo
A moment of quiet in Saltash
Ready for another sun filled day
(P.S I wouldn't mind taking these signs home with me...how great are they?! )
