Some light weight (255 lbs) speed work was on the programme today. Because of my height (6'8" and a little) I am not that efficiently built for doing deadlifts. Just put in the work and always try to improve your weaknesses.
Accessory day! Barbell row superset with rope tricep push downs. After that chin ups, superset with decline tricep extensions and cable bicep curls. Short workout, but very effective! Ready to do some squats and deads tomorrow!
Had a quick workout for legs today. Had to study a lot today, so I made sure that I was in and out the gym within the hour.
Did 5x8-10 reps on the squat (middle high rep day), 5 sets (12-15 reps) single leg press, hamstring focussed by placing my feet a bit higher than neutral, followed by a few drop sets with both legs. In order to put extra emphasis on the hamstrings, I roll off at my heels when my legs are straight. I finished my workout with a few dropsets of lying hamstring curls and calve raises.
After an hour I was almost unable to walk down the stairs of the gym....mission complete!
