Repeat after me ~ I cultivate the power and strength I need to grow with grace. I welcome love, joy and clarity. I drink up new energy and feel calm with my connection to the undeniable divine. I call upon my feminine power to gently heal from within and unleash my inner fire. My every action and thought guides me to my fullest expression. My dreams become my reality with every intention I set. 🌻
Playful video and edit by @mynameiscub x @aloyoga as it’s warming up outside ☀️ wishing you all a beautiful weekend!
We rob ourselves of the happiness we truly deserve the moment we decide to depend on things outside ourselves to determine our worth or our beauty. You don’t need a number on a scale to determine your happiness. You don’t even need likes on a post for validation or to feel good about the path you’re on right now. You can thrive without any kind of outside approval to do the things that make your heart sing. And you already have it all. Right inside you- the power to create, the permission to feel joy in each moment, the love and acceptance of who you are and who you’re becoming. You can grant yourself the permission to feel love in this very moment, exactly as you are.
We always have the choice, fear or love ♥️ Photography by @mynameiscub ☀️
The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us but those who win battles that we know nothing about. ~ Jonathan Harnisch 🌙 I love this quote so much, makes me realize and think of how much we assume about others, and just how much we don’t see or understand behind the scenes of what people choose to share. It’s warming up here in Colorado! Looking forward to our all women’s Jungle Retreat in Fort Collins 🌈 April 4-7 ☀️ there’s still space 🤗 link is in my bio! 🌙 What is it that makes us stop doing the things that we love?
Growing up? Choosing what’s safe, most responsible or sensible? Loosing touch of our playful childlike wonder? • What are your excuses or reasons? 💫 The only real answer and the root of what makes us stop doing what we love is fear. And fear can only have power if you give into it
Swipe for puppy smooches! 🐺 👅 I was 21, lost and scared in a new, very foreign home town of Costa Mesa, California. It was crazy different from anything I had ever know. I just moved across the US with my partner at the time, from Boiling Springs PA where the hills roll far and wide and you can hike for miles in the woods before seeing any fences or trespassing signs 🙈 I was feeling completely lost. I hadn’t felt like I found my calling or anything that I was really passionate about, I was depressed and didn’t have the tools necessary to understand it all. Yoga was on every corner in California though, this kind of yoga, that kind of yoga, it was everywhere! So I took that as a sign and a helpful suggestion from my partner that I should try it!
I went to my first class with @sexloveyoga and I fell in love. I was fascinated at how much better and more focused I felt after class. Like clearing away cob webs in my messy brain and growing the tools I need to truly thrive. I didn’t know it yet but I WAS meditating, my practice was a moving meditation in itself and after class we had long yummy shavasanas to melt into. This new found sense of self and my ability to show myself care and love was healing me. I looked into my first 200hr teacher training the next month with @stellalunayoga and 2 years later did my 300hr with @theyogaunderground 🙏🏽 over the past 5 years I’ve learned so much from many different teachers and I have so many beautiful souls to thank for guiding me on my journey. What makes my heart happy is seeing that light spark in others in my classes + on retreats. I love helping others find themselves through this practice ♥️ For a little while I even wanted to teach at high schools because I thought of how much more confident and self aware I could’ve been if I had learned these practices at an earlier age! Today I’m partnering with #alogives to bring yoga and meditation to children all over the world! A 12 week curriculum to help 2 million young kids learn to listen to their own hearts and find inner peace in this ever changing world 🌈 swipe up in my story for more info! • Alogives.com •
Ever since I was little I was putting myself in weird positions to play hide and seek where no one would find me - in the dryer or in a small cabinet. We (myself and my 3 older brothers) made foot prints all over the walls from climbing up them like in emperors new groove 🙈 I’m thankful for finding my yoga practice • I honestly have no idea where or who I’d be without it ⭐️ I’ll forever cherish the permission it’s given me to always be weird ☺️ I’ll always have a curiosity of what this human body is capable of and I love that yoga provides an environment and community of people who have the same curiosities 🙌🏽 I love you guys so much! Just feelin lots of love outward and inward today ⚡️ Photography by my love @mynameiscub x @aloyoga colors

In every way, shape or form I show up in, there’s no one I’d rather be. Right here, right now, feeling my heart beat out of my chest as I leap and bound throughout this life’s ups and downs. Figuring it out with each step and each breath I take. There’s nowhere I’d rather be. Present and patient with myself as I am in each moment, learning how to love myself so I can in turn, love fiercely those that are in my life. ☀️ 🐍 🌸 ⭐️ 🌊 🌈 ⚡️ 🍄 🦋 🌙
Thank you for this powerful capture and reminder that I am exactly where and who I need to be @ameliadaffodilia 📸 love you! 👯♀️

You know what’s scarier than being different? • S t a y i n g the s a m e • You may think of this at first as sticking out in the crowd or following your own path when everyone else confirms or follows another’s footsteps. Think of it on a larger scale about you and your own personal growth. 5 years ago even 1 year ago, where were you? Who were you? Are you the same person as you were then? What has changed, or rather, what hasn’t? And how can you take steps to achieve the changes and growth that you want? The first step is noticing it and recognizing it for what it is. The next is to move past it and step outside your comfort zone! In order to have significant growth we must first seek out significant change in our lives.
