We would like to introduce everyone to the newest member of the Rockdale Police Department family.

Roxie is a 1 1/2-year-old female German Shepherd that has been paired with Officer Kurt Griffing.
Roxie's first day of patrol is today after spending the last 4 weeks in Pennsylvania with Officer Griffing to train in narcotics identification, persons tracking, article searching.

Roxie will be officially sworn in at our Tuesday, May 1, 2018, Village Board Meeting.

We are excited about our newest addition and thankful to the Will County States Attorney's Office for the donation that allowed for the purchase of Roxie and her training.

Rockdale Officer Harris and the Basic School Resource Officer class he's currently attending. Great class to compliment Officer Harris who is already our schools DARE and Juvenile Officer.
