King Los music video at 154,000* views on YouTube
Shot in LA with @officialblockent - full video link in bio
Here's the whole story with the video:
I flew to LA for the first time and this music video was one of the most exciting things I did out there. There is a man named Mike that stays near Los' place in North Hollywood. He's been homeless since '95, which is the year I was born. What we're doing for Mike is using Los' fanbase as a platform for putting homelessness front and center and making it possible to help Mike directly. I interviewed him for half an hour one day and formed an emotional connection with him and his story; hence the opening of the music video. I think we could get Mike in a position to get a job, have a place, and see his family in Alabama this Christmas.
We have plans to make it happen. Used the Canon C200 on Steadicam and a little RED Scarlet X on sticks. Lenses were the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 and 50-100 f/1.8 art series, sunset work was the Canon 24-105 f/4 for more flaring and softness. Lighting was completely natural. Feedback is welcome!
Kendrick Lamar: the fan experience
I was inspired to recreate the DAMN. tour experience through phone footage from over a dozen different fans' perspectives, including my own in DC. The DAMN. tour wouldn't be possible without such an army of passionate fans.
