Just wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to all of the #racers, #family#members and #supporters of our growing organization. It truly showed in our final sprint race.
Looking forward to an amazing 2018 season.
We have all had this conversation before and it continues for each and every race. The metals parts on your bike that can potentially hit the ground need to be protected. We can not risk losing access to tracks due to poor tech inspections and poor bike prep.
At a minimum the following is needed:
Handle bar end guards (hand guards or bar ends)
If you lay your bike over on its side and something metallic is touching the ground....it needs to be protected.
Should it be observed by any of the track officials, flaggers, or SFLMINIGP staff that there are hard parts dragging from your race bike, you will be black flagged.
So please, take some time out, head to home depot or loews and put some protection on the bikes.. — feeling ready at Bushnell Motorsports Park.
ATTENTION IN THE PADDOCK!!! We are truly #BLESSED to have amazing companies like @Tracksidepartsclub supporting our #kids program. They are providing us with a BRAND NEW @gimoto_official peewee suit to raffle off in our final #race of the season!!! @motoracer336 you and team are AMAZING...THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU DO FOR OUR SPORT!!! Raffle information:
The raffle is totally free. Kids will get (1) one raffle ticket for every event that they have attended in the 2017 season. That is any event. So, let's say "Little Johnny" attended 4 events, he would recieve 4 raffle tickets.
For this race attendace, each kid racer will recieve (2) two raffle tickets.
So start pre-registering the kids, get the rental bikes selected if you are borrowing one and come out to enjoy the final sprint race of the season!!! — feeling excited at @bushnellmotorsportpark
Registration for the upcoming event is open. Head over to sflminigp.com and get registered. It closes on Nov 16th. Avoid any issues with not having an assigned transponder or getting setup in the rear of the grid.
ARE YOU REGISTERED YET!!! I need to get everyone in the system so the transponders can be arranged for the day. Not pre-registering will set you up on the back of the grids without a transponder. You can still choose to pay at the event when you check out. — feeling excited at Orlando Kart Center.
I have had various discussions about giving the #scooters a shot at #racing with us. So I am opening up this event to allow a mock up scooter race to actually see the interest in doing so. The cost for the race is as follows:
Just racing the scooters: $35 per rider plus the $10 pit pass
If you are already racing your mini and want to bring your scooter out as well....it will be the normal $20 multi class fee.
I will be running the race just before the main event begins. It will be 10 laps. There is no practice, qualifying or heat race. Just one 10 lap race.
Here is a video of the races in our northern franchise NY MiniGP:
If you are deciding to race the "GROM OPEN" race at the end of the #schedule you must do the following:
Step 1: be pre-registered for another class (You can not just register for that one race...this is an add on...you must select it as an addition to the other classes you are running)
Step 2: if you a pre-registering select your main classes and then select "Grom Spec" to be added to this race.
If you have already pre-registered and did not click on this class, sign back into your account and click (multi-class adder) and add the "Grom Spec" class. If you are already registered for more than one class, then we can add you to the Grom Open on Sunday...just let them know at the registration table.
