Better (a day) late, than never: Happy International Cheetah Day-I am extremely lucky for the opportunities I have had to meet these beautiful creatures up close and personal. For this I am truly grateful, and hope that through conservation and education future generations will have the same chance, and not just learn about them in school as an extinct animal.
It’s the first of December which means it’s FINALLY socially acceptable to be excited about Christmas! 🎄🎁🎅🏻 Extra thankful for this guy who tolerates my excessive excitement and I can’t wait to put up our first Christmas tree together, even if it will be about 20 days before he wants to do so 😅
With the excitement and uncertainty that hunting for a new job opportunity brings, I asked Mitch not to get me anything for my birthday...big surprise, he was stubborn and didn’t listen 😂 Instead he got me the perfect gifts and created a mini-scavenger hunt for me to find them. Needless to say, he gets me ❤️
This time next week I will be celebrating my birthday 🥳 during the most magical season 🎄at the happiest place on earth. If that isn’t a recipe for a weekend filled with pure joy, I don’t know what it is-plus after this last week, the timing of the upcoming fun-filled frolicking could not be more perfect.
We have been pretty dang spoiled by “winter” sunsets here in San Diego and it’s only the beginning of November. I can’t wait to continue to post an obnoxious amount of sunset photos as we get further into winter 😅#ihaveaproblem#confessionsofasunsetaholic
